    TVs are getting more and more brighter but what I miss is color accuracy and ease of use. All I want is to sit down, turn on the TV and watch a movie (not worrying about changing the settings and which mode to switch it too)

      Ugh tell me about it. I miss the days when you can just turn on a TV and turn on whatever channel you wanted

      TCL has pretty color accuracy. Just do a little research on which model.

    PH-OLED is the panacea, until Quantum PH-OLED or QPH-OLED, then wait for the Elite Pro version, Elite Professional QPH-OLED-Enhanced?

    TV’s that expand in size would be amazing to have in future for regular consumers.

    All this new tech and “handshaking” still can’t be fully fixed 🤔

    What about TCL CSOT INK JET Printed OLED. A TRUE RGB display.. That’s what I’m excited about. And one they can make the blue with PHoled it should be off the chain.

    *But blue pholed has 50% less lifespan.*

      Yes they are still working on life span. That’s why it has been only made in some small screen displays. Things people don’t keep more than a few years.

    I'm thinks micro led is good for environment because if one tile broken or faulty that replace like led sign boards. But reality led sign boards new panel is brighter than old working ones.

    Heading back to CRT soon!😂

  • @ibunkun
    @ibunkun Місяць тому

    Yeah. I thought that tech died over a decade ago, maybe around 14-15 years. It was when Oleds were new, plasmas dying, LCD TV inferior and LED becoming the norm. There was talks of CRT tech revives, like a plasma in individual cells, brighter than oiled, far cheaper to produce.

    2:24 that’s not right
    Burn in will still be an issue
    Microled is what will fix the burn in issue

    • @GAG091186
      @GAG091186 Місяць тому +1

      NanoLED/QDEL will fix the burn-in issue as well. If I was a betting man, my money would be at NanoLED, MicroLED always seems years off before they come at consumer prices & sizes. PHOLED may not fix the burn-in issue entirely (which is an issue with the OLED technology itself), but if PHOLED is such an improvement over current OLED that PHOLED monitors without an issue can be used in offices without complaints about burn-in, the life expectancy might have improved in such a way that burn-in in practice is a non-issue.

    • @MrFaleh1129
      @MrFaleh1129 Місяць тому

      @@GAG091186 maybe if let’s say PHOLED is resistant long term then maybe
      Like if I display CNN 24 hours a day and it still survives after 10 years but fails at the 11th year then yah
      But it doesn’t make it immune
      I for one have a tv that is from 2006 (still kicking strong) 1080P tv , will PHOLED survive this much while I watch mostly sports so a lot of static content !?
      That’s the thing I don’t think it will , so microled is the end game but not PHOLED as this video makes it out to be

    • @GAG091186
      @GAG091186 Місяць тому

      @@MrFaleh1129 The CNN anology when it comes to the lifetime of a PHOLED panel is also what I have in mind. Burn-in would still be an issue, but because it's so hard to actually get burn-in on such panels, maybe it wouldn't even be a relevant topic of discussion when those panels are the "latest and greatest" on the market?
      This might just be wishfull thinking from my part, but even so I still look at OLED in general as a transistional technology before NanoLED and / or MicroLED to consumer sizes & prices.

  • @patrickm1092
    @patrickm1092 Місяць тому

    MicroLed is just LED, not OLED. Self-emissive LED.

  • @jstout333
    @jstout333 Місяць тому +1

    OLED fails long term on the basis of motion not being great. Crt and Plasma are superior in this regard. Future tech needs to prioritize motion.
