    The most unrealistic part of this skit is that the HRE exists in 977 AD implying that, since the king of France is the PC, the AI managed to form the HRE

Being able to sit down and play 400 years in a couple hours means that you’ve digested countless adultery events of anyone close to your player character. Compare that to what we know of the relatives and courtiers of the real medieval past. For an affair to enter recorded history, it would have been had to have been a.) discovered, b.) written down, and c.) preserved through history. The brazen example of Zoë is probably one example of many. I speculate there were a lot of powerful women who had young boy toys when they were past menopause.

      @pancakesean6888  Рік тому +15

      I normally don't respond to negative comments but my fear is someone who likes this style and wants to create something similar would read this and hesitate to do so.
      I literally referenced Joel as a big inspiration in both the video and description. Given the fact he publicly made videos on how to do animations and encouraged others to try their hand at it I think it's fair game.
      I've wanted to do skits for awhile but just filming myself seems kind of cheap so I found this method to be fun and entertaining. All the skits I write are 100% me, I'm simply borrowing the style so they are more visually interesting.
      I think in the spirit of creating more content it's fine to borrow style from other creators who openly encourage it so long as you thank the people who inspired you, and if anyone sees my videos or Haver's stuff and wants to do something similar I encourage it, and I believe he would too.
      Now if I didn't give Joel his just due and Joel didn't openly share how to make videos like him that would be another story, but as it stands I think more animation is a net positive for this platform.

      I think how it works is you would have to do it for one of her children. Dont think you can push a woman's claim on the HRE with its default laws.
      I did a similar thing as the ERE. Captured a brother of the Holy Roman Empire in a war, recruited him, maternally married him to one of my relatives. She poisoned him before I got around to pushing his claim (Had to fend off the Mongols for like 20 years until I was sure they were not gonna strike the nanosecond I was distracted) but they had already had a son so I pushed his claim instead.
      I won, he became Emperor and after his death our dynasty lost that crown again (none of his sons got elected). But he had successfully converted most of the nobles to Orthodox, so that was a win to me.
