- Опубліковано 26 кві 2022
- This time at the Quick Speed Shop I'm going to show you to build a Gene Winfield Pipe Anvil for bending sheet metal into curves and radiuses. Gene Winfield showed me how to build this in one of his Winfield metal shaping classes. It's a simple tool, but works great.
Dimensions:
36" long
5" ID Sch 40 main pipe
4" OD Sch 40 medium pipe
2 1/2" Sch 40 small pipe
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Saturday.

Dang, another handy tool for the Quick Speed Shop!! Nice work.
Thanks 🙏
👍🏻Awesome job! I have making one on my todo list, nothing to do now but to get in the shop and make it.
I already used it and it worked mint!
cool, thanks for the video. I will be making one of them soon
👍
cool tool man, Thanks for the AWESOME video
👍
That's slick.
Thanks 👍
It is easier to weld it together horizontally. No need for a template since they are all sitting flat on the table. Also, you should leave the washers in place and just weld around them.
Wobble is because you missed the part were Gene said to use 3 legs. Leave one end leg with the T bottom and change the other to a single leg then the uneven floor won't matter.
I know he said three legs. I only had 2 pieces of tube the make the legs so I did it like how I did.
Yes he did, my point is it's not necessary to have three legs. As I said, leave the T post on one end and make the other a single point of contact. Then it is the same as three legs with 3 points of contact.@@QuickSpeedShop
just a quick question - why the heavy duty schedule 40 pipe - couldnt you do this out of exhaust tubing also - very low pressure bends ?
So you can beat on it with a body hammer if need be. Exhaust tubing would get beat up too easily and also doesn't come in 6 inch
@@QuickSpeedShop thx - had only seen these used hand forming sheet metal - didnt think of hammer/dolly
Thanx for sharing
