Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making a quality video. I am going to make one. Please don't apologize for camera work you don't think is as good as you want it to be. The content of the video is what is important!!!!
Hi. I thought that I should tell you that it's alot easier. In 2 cuts. When you turn the machine off and leave the blade in the gap and turn the pipe as far the blade allows you to. Clamp the pipe again and leave a little space for the blade to turn and cut it thru. That's how I do it with big pieces of wood. Works good. 👍 Took a moment to translate from German to English. I'm in what used to be (West) Berlin, Germany and I hope it's understandable. Some call us Army brats, but I'm not. Thanks for showing your skills in Metal fabrication. 👍 I also really like watching Ralphy’s Customs and I probably found your shop, because of that. 😎 I'm going to remember your sheet metall bender. Simple and effective is always the best way. I only welded my name ones on a piece Railroad track when I was 18 and in the German Merchand Marine. ☺
Great video! At the tender age of 68 (now retired) I know all too well about Gene Winfield and I do follow Fitzee. Crazy azz Canadian! I've been considering building a pipe anvil for my hobby projects. I very much like the added "accessory" features you've added. Yeah, when I build mine imma steal some of your ideas. :) Thank you, sir!
Very cool....the two solid rods in the end is kinda what I was talking to you about last year. Welded on a piece of one inch square stock to fit in a vise or blacksmith anvil to bend hot steel with. You’ll be able to make a lot of stuff with your new toy!!! 👍🏻
Cheers from Alaska. Almost all my family is in Minnesota. Ever been to hooked on classics in Watertown? My two cents but I would drill a 3/8 holes between the 5.5" pipe and the others so you can use the radius to bend rod. Love your channel.
I’m glad I finally watched this. I have a slip roll, but this is another tool I never knew I needed until now. I might have to ditch the bandsaw for the Evo too👌.
Good evening, this is my next project. It is so simple it has to work great. Lots of interesting projects in the background. You take care and stay healthy. Thanks for a great video.
Hey bro love your pipe anvil came out good taken you some time to build one lol I've got some design changes that I'm going to be doing to mine I'm hoping soon so I'll try and get a video of me doing the design changes.
It's funny that you are coming up with this now. I am in the process of getting the material together to build a pipe anvil and brake. I was watching Fitzee and he just built one himself. Plus he had an old video of how he built his brake also. I've got most of the material from my local scrap yard. Very good job on the anvil. Looks cool bro. You did a lot more than just an anvil. Thanks for the show. Ronnie.
Thanks brother! Hope your doing good. Dont miss any of your vids. Your channel is awesome! Realistic, not fake, no bull$hit!!! Thanks for stopping by. Im honored! 👍😁 ARCO
Hi Mr. Arco,If you take a DA and sand the galvanized pipe down you can weld it up just fine.My brother welded Galvanized metal and ended up in Hospital.Poison damn near killed him.He definitely learned his lesson.I have sanded down Galvanized metal and welded it without any problems.People think anything galvanized is garbage but it's only a coating put on in a factory.
Nice build! Just a heads up, steel pipe is measured ID. The outside diameter will change depending on wall thickness but the inside diameter will remain. 1.5" sc. 10 and 1.5" sc. 40 will both be 1.5" ID but the outside diameter will be larger on the thicker pipe. Not busting your balls just want to make sure if you ever want to get fittings, measure inside not outside.
Cool build I’ll have to modify the one I built last year now as I built a short 24 inch version that clamps on bench never got around to putting legs on it thinking of how to do it where legs are removed for storage as single car garage is difficult to have so much in and put car away at night got me thinking.
Its funny man that you mention Fitzies Fabrications, I follow him as well, he is a fellow Canadian, I live in Ontario, and Fitzie is in Newfoundland which is an island on our east coast. I am working on rebuilding a 69 Camaro, and I’m far from being a pro at body working or fabing but I have learned a lot from him including the pipe anvil. I have also learned a lot from your channel as well, I started following you a few months ago, so thanks a ton for sharing your info and stuff. I haven’t gotten to far on my build yet, it needs a ton of work, basically I saved it from a crusher! The only way I could ever be able to buy one, is piece by piece! I have a channel to suggest you check out sometime just from the perspective of mutual interest in building cars. He is also a Canadian, in Nova Scotia which is also on our east coast. He has had a show on the History channel for a couple of years, but has his own personal builds on his YT channel. Right now he is working on hand building from scratch, by eye from pics, a Bugatti. Its bad ass! His channel is simply “Bad Chad”
Im a fan of bad chads. Thanks for the nice comments brother. I appreciate your support on our channel. Would love to see your build. So cool to have another car saved from the crusher! 👍😄 ARCO

You could weld a shaft with a disc in each end of the 5" pipe so you could turn it around! Sometimes you maybe need it upside down...
That's a genius idea👍 so many tools in one👍
