Miata Heater Core Bypass

On this episode of the Miata build we will be bypassing the heater core. One of the reasons I stopped driving my Miata was because the heater core was leaking causing coolant to overflow into the interior. This is a major issue since the car would not hold coolant. This is a very common issue on Miata's that happens with age.
Removing the heater core is a major task that requires pulling apart the entire dash. As a temporary solution I’ve decided to bypass the heater core completely.
The install only required basic tools and took about 30 mins to complete. I hope this video gives you the confidence to do it yourself too!
