    No such thing as waste!! Crude oil used to be called "black gold." All waste organics are gray or brown "gold" -A much more sensible resource. The non-energy byproduct gas, carbon dioxide, can be used for high lipid algae production. All the waste biomass sludges likewise have value for fuel products just as pellets, briquets, char etc.. This kind of thing can be done in very large scale. My observation has been that size has its advantages over smaller processes. The bigger operation has greater resilience to upsets.
