Thank you for bringing Lil Red up to see us and giving me a ride ! Excited to see you cruising around your new Twin !
You know you want to buy it!
A sad good-by to little Cherokee 7738 November--A happy hello to Seneca 484 Hotel Papa--How exciting for you !!!
I remember selling my ‘63 Cherokee 180. I know it was just a piece of metal, but it still had heart and soul. Lots of great memories!
Good bye Lil' Red. You made me fall in love with flying again. You were wonderful to Kay and I hope you two can take another adventure again some day. You will be missed. Fair winds and blue skies to you.
This is emotional to watch. I grew up with my dad’s Cherokee (…13W) - lots of memories so this resonates with me. Still, glad you’ve been able to step up. You are a great teacher of good piloting skills.
Too bad you couldn't keep Lil Red and the new plane at the same time. Lil Red was a good girl, and she took you lots of places and you got to see new things with her. We will ALWAYS remember Lil Red. 🥺🥺🥺🥺💖💖💖💖❤❤❤❤
Life is like a book, you close one chapter and then OPEN a new one. Piper here we come! !! !!!
Bitter sweet moment that I’m happy you’ve achieved. I understand the mere cost of storing one aircraft much less maintenance on two of them! If they are a toy with thousands going out every month, with no real return. Yes! Downsize to a single aircraft you that’s perfect for your needs, even a little overkill was the right decision!
Aviator Family will Miss Little Red 😢 we know she will be taken good care of from her New owner ❤
Did not realize how far you and little red traveled around the country; thx for visiting the PNW
Like a child 'leaving home' - Did you shed a tear Kay - just a little one ???
We will never forget the adventures with 'Lil Red...
Thank you for taking us along for the ride!
You are such a Joy to watch, hope you cand spoil us with you new adventures..
Thank you Kay I know it is sad giving up little red but you have so many more adventures in your new airplane
True!
Gonna miss Lil Red but so happy for you that you are moving on to the Seneca. Love the Pipers built here in my home town, KVRB !
OK - What will be 484 Hotel Papa's name?????? Can't wait! I noticed someone said "Wild Blue" which is pretty cool! Let us know!! CONGRATS on moving on up! Thanks for your wonderful and informative and COMPETENT videos!!!
Going to miss little red!!! Thank you for sharing with me on your trips !! You have a great weekend!!😊
She will be missed! Had many hours watching you guys living it up! The wing shot with the big pre-thunderstorm clouds was the best.

Love the way you deliver a commentary on the checks you are doing. It's unlikely that I'll ever get to pursue a pilot's license but pretty cool to see your due diligence in every video.
Even though I'm a recent arrival to your channel, I still got a little teary-eyed during your retrospective. I just think of the last time I drove my first car.
Totally empathize...when Gma sold her pink Cherokee was a sad day! Many memories she made using for business in Mary Kay!
A pink Mary Kay plane?! How cool is that!!
*Goodbye, Lil Red!* Wishing you clear skies for all of your future adventures with your new owner. Thanks for the video, Kay. Enjoyed it. Cheers! 🙂
While I'm sure it's sad to say goodbye to "Li'l Red," imagine how great the airconditioning is going to be.
Love watching you, Kay. Your pilot skills are exceptional. Your personality is what makes the difference.
Chris
Bees just wanted to go fly with Kay
I understand why you are moving up to a twin but I just loved watching you fly around for lunch or just poking holes in the sky. I fly a PA28 Piper Warrior II for breakfast or lunch at diffent airports. It was fun going along with you on your flights in a plane like what I fly. I'll stop by to watch your video's sometime. Have fun and be safe.
Hi Kay, You have been to many places in America by your wonderful plane Lil Red. I also like your flying through the clouds wonderfully. I will support all your flying videos Kay
You be very careful and stay safe! That’s a lot more plane than you think and it will take some time!
You have a new viewer, can't wait for the new adventures in the Seneca. The 180 was always my favorite rental, I completely understand your attachment.
Thank you Kay for sharing one last flight with Lil Red. Thank you Lil Red for keeping Kay traveling and safe. Can't wait for the new adventures in the new plane.
Enjoyed watching all your flights in Lil Red. I was a little emotional this morning. looking forward to your new journey in your Seenca plane. Thank you, Kay, you are an awesome pilot. 🛩✈
The best part of the twin will be getting VFR to 7500 feet fast on hot days then to new normal flight levels. 10,500 and higher. Nice and cool on hot days. Your no longer stuck low and sweating. I am a twin pilot in AZ. Many times I didn't go IFR because they kept me low when it's 105. Lol
@21:59 I'm convinced that the only thing that kept you out of Hawaii was the lack of a fuel stopover! It's great seeing people use their flight skills to create memories such as you and you Dad did with Li'l Red. Wishing you happy sky miles ahead in your next plane. As you take us along, we are all excited to share the experience with you.
The end of an era. Have greatly enjoyed all the flights in Lil' Red! A very capable Piper and a great pilot. Thanks, Kay. Looking forward to what the future brings to you and your channel.
Man, I just started watching this year and even I'm feeling a little emotional about this! I've loved the travels with little Red and I hope I get to meet you someday :) Im a sailor going for my captains license. I admire your thoroughness and skill! I m looking forward to watching your adventures and safe travels in the new airplane :)
Noooo lil red🫡I fly a Cherokee 140 (same thing) and I love flying it and those aircrafts are great! also tagged you in some of my videos by the way👍
Always a great escape to watch. Thanks, please be safe in the twin.
Wow, it's bitter sweet saying goodbye to Lil'Red, but I'm looking forward to seeing the new plain! Best wishes, from Nashville!
So bittersweet! I loved flying with you in Lil Red and I'm going to miss her. On the flip side, I'm looking forward to flying in your new airplane. Thanks Kay and I wish you the best.
Sorry but this flight brought me to tears. God bless you Kay and may all our fights be awesome just like the pilot 😀
As the saying goes Parting is such sweet sorrow. May Little Red have many more safe flights with her new owner. And best wishes to you, Kay, for your flying adventures ahead.
Little Red will always be remembered thank you Kay for letting us be part of your life.
I’m going to miss lil Red! Thank for the fun times! You’ll always be glad for the experience she brought you! Blessing K!

Thx Kay for a great last flight in Lil Red...looking forward to your new plane adventures.
Great last flight! Looking forward to your new plane and all the adventures you have planned.
You held it together better than I did on this last flight. Gotta admit, I will miss hearing "Cherokee 7738N" on your videos. But the only thing constant in life is change.....so I look forward to my vicarious flying with you on your new adventures. Stay safe as always.
Are you making Lil Red an orphan? Poor Cherokee 7738N. I will miss him. Don't worry Lil Red, we will always love you!
Good bye Lil Red!!!!
Bitter/sweet flight. Thanks for sharing. Hope to see many more in the new twin. AQP.
That was quite emotional. salute to Lil Red, hail the new chapter. A privilege to watch your safe flying Kay.
Sorry to see lil red go. But glad to see a nice upgrade 👌
Thanks for the memories Kay and Lil' Red. You made some nice upgrades and I hope you get the chance to re-purchase her again. Looking forward to 'Blue Horizon' (or whatever) to take us to more exciting places.
Hint: Blue is not in the name! But thanks Tom!
Watching this video almost brought tears to my eyes. I will miss Lil Red. Hope and pray that you will have a wonderful and safe time in your new plane and adventures. All the best.
Can’t wait to fly with you in the new plane, when I wait for your new uploads I can watch the older videos of little red. Sorry you couldn’t keep her.
Both glad and sad to see your last flight in Lil Red Kay - looking forward to new adventures with you in the Seneca ❤️
Bye "Little Red" happy landings!
Always reminds me when as a kid I would fly with my dad ever weekend in his Cherokee. Thanks kay
We will all miss you Lil Red
Thanks for the rides in Lil Red
Good luck Kay with the last flight ✈️ with little red. We are all looking forward to you in your twin engine air plane. ❤
I felt the same way when I sold my first car. It was a 1985 Ford Crown Vic. I loved that car. It was a piece of junk, had all sorts of quirks like if the radio got all static-y and started cutting out, you could smack the top of the dashboard good and hard and it would fix the radio. I would own another one in a heartbeat.
Lol my first car was a 1996 CVPI. Bought it from the first security company I ever worked at. I bought it with about 180k on it for 1,200. Needed a new intake manifold, and once that was replaced it ran awesome.
Until I ran over a spool of thin metal wire like baling wire and it got around the drive shaft and blew the seal on the transmission. Caused it to need a rebuild. Never ran the same after that.
@@PTRRanger951 that sucks, I never had a PI. I later bought a 99 CV. It was white and "looked" like a cop car. Always ticked me off that when I'd get behind someone on the freeway they'd slow down cause they saw me in the rear view and thought I was a cop lol. Crown Vics were great cars.
Good luck with the New adventures in the new plane. I will continue watch all your videos
A pleasure being with you.
You should add "Check cockpit for flying insects" to your preflight checklist.
Kay, you are the Bee's Knees!
Little Red will always be missed but on to your new adventures.
AWWWWWW i will miss lil Red, BUT excited about all the new adventures with "Big Blue" ? whatever name i will love it :) ty Kay Love your channel, your dad is fantastic! from SE Texas Orange :) ❤💯🙏

It’s been a fun ride Lil Red ❤
Bye bye bye little red!
We’ll miss you, Lil Red! Thank you for taking care of Kay! Best of luck with your new owner!
I don't remember if Lil Red is your first airplane or not. But when I sold my first airplane there was sadness. What helped me feel better about it was to realize that I never owned my airplane. I was merely someone on a long list of people who took care of her. And that the best that I could do was take good care of her for the next person on that list. We are not airplane owners. We're merely temporary stewards.
Vacationing Bees...ALL ABOARD... next stop Sugarland. lol
So amazingly little red can fly coast to coast
So long to Lil Red, you were a big part to Kay's channel.

[ Great ] video. Thanks for sharing/posting. I look forward to the next one in your new (new to you) plane. Be safe! Cheers! :)
Oh, I now to a mental check when I start my vehicle in the mornings before I drive off to work:
1. Doors locked
2. Seat belt on
3. Sun roof shade closed
4. Foot on brake
5. Start engine
6. Parking brake off
7. Radio on
8. Check display console; all indicators look good
8. Check display console for tire(s) pressure PSI
9. Check gear to make sure it is in Park
10. Rev engine once; no odd sounds, sounds good
10. Check heat/AC (whichever is weather applicable)
11. Slide open drivers side window and yell out "K-Pop!" 😃
12. Close drivers side window
13. Place vehicle gear in reverse and slowly reverse out of parking spot
14. Look to my left for traffic (right side is just a wall)
15. Check rear view mirror and also rear view camera as I slowly back out of parking stall
Note: I do put on my prescription eye glasses before doing #4 above
Just found your channel about a month ago. Really enjoy watching Pro pilots flying.... keeps me learning. 500 hous for me but not flown in 15 years, going to get back up this year.
Sad to see Lil Red go, but excited to see your adventures in (????????).
1.Big Blue
2.Lil Blue
3.Twin Blue
4. Blue Twin
5. Blue Angel
6. Angel Blue
7. Bessie
8. Thor
9. Hercules
10 Obie Wan
11 Aladan
Awesome suggestions! Thanks so much!
@@FlyWithKay You probably already have a name picked out. Just seeing if I am close.
I know your new ride has air conditioning, but for the new owner of Lil Red, pick up a Zero Breeze Battery Powered AC...I carry one in my Skylane. It weighs all of 23# and sits easily in the baggage compartment. It can run on battery for three hours and it has a remote control. I use mine on the ramp to cool everything down. Makes the Florida heat just a bit more bearable, so it would definitely handle any Texas heat.
Not an advertisement!!! No affiliation beside owner/user of the product.
Great video. I'm looking forward to seeing your new adventures.
Good bye to Little Red.
❤❤❤ Have a nice flight.
I just stopped in to see if you're got the new plane.
Yes anxious to see you right flying
You never know where life takes you Kay. You might end up with another Piper Cherokee 180 later in life. It might not have the same serial number, but still another Lil Red.
L'il Red, may you enjoy safe flights for many years to come. What an excellent aircraft! 🛩️
I'm looking forward for some international flights with the Seneca. Cancun maybe?
