Pops, be proud. I'm a Husband along with being a Dad of two grown daughters and a son. Grandfather of 8. Your Daughter is one brilliant, brave and absolutely beautiful young lady. She's a great pilot. Love the channel. Kudos to you and your Wife for a doing a fine upbringing of this lovely lady.
Beautiful Seneca you have there, lucky young lady! Don't know if your instructor told you, when you have no passengers in the back of a Seneca you are very close to the forward CG limit. This makes you touch down 3 point or nose wheel first(Not Good). When you go flying like that, put a few bottles of water, 10-20 liters worth in the aft baggage bay, Helps move the CG a little aft and makes for MUCH easier landings in the Seneca.
I know you’re very checklist oriented but I would recommend since moving up to a light twin (or even bigger faster aircraft) you incorporate a crew briefing prior to take off. Some good examples on UA-cam but mainly cover what you’d do in the event of an engine failure, at different phases of flight/takeoff. Any descent single engine pilot can fly a twin on two engines, a true multi-engine pilot is prepared to fly the twin on one! Enjoy the new plane, a great machine!
if there is anyone who’d I’d trust in a new twin aircraft, it’s Kay! You are the most detailed, checklist oriented pilot I know! Super detailed and safe! Enjoy learning your new MYSTIC🧑✈️❤️
Really enjoyed this flight with you and pops. Great landing also. Loving the camera views, especially the left wings 360° rotation capability. Can't wait until your next video, hopefully a trip somewhere.
Kay good video but when you pull out on to the runway and power up I love to hear the engines. There is just something sweet to hear those engines go to full power.
Hello Kay, how are you, your new Piper Seneca III plane is very nice, I had one like it but due to the conditions in my country I had to sell it, there is no fuel, many restrictions on flying, exaggerated taxes and many other things that are not worth talking about I congratulate you because I know that it is an excellent, very noble airplane. Its engines, whose rotations are unmatched, for the moment of a malfunction that turns off the engine, may you continue to advance in aviation, which is beautiful and of unmatched satisfaction, in good time. your new plane, congratulations
✈ Wow, what an incredible experience! Your first flight in your new airplane must have been exhilarating. The views from up there are absolutely stunning, and you captured the excitement perfectly. Can't wait to see more adventures and flights in the future! Keep soaring high! 🌤🚀
Very cool first flight with Pops! Everyone is learning and understanding things better, which is awesome. Can't wait to see what happens going forward, very exciting!
Flying it like you own it Kay! Those external camera shots are insane! Mystik is such a sharp looking bird too. And you fit right in. Happy Father's Day to your proud Pops!
You have adjusted quite nicely to the new plane. My dad taught me on our twin engine boat the balance of prop speed and what it sounded like. The sound and feel are distinct. You mentioned it to your pop as well as showing the indicator light well as explaining what to listen for. The ability to pick things up like that, no matter how inconsequential it might have appeared always served me well.
What a magnificent pleasure it is to be part of the 1st flight in your new aircraft in this video. I could see the excitement in your dad's face to be part of the first time he was with you there. I love to see the professionalism in your flying skills and your communication with the video as well. All the best of luck and happiness with the Senica aircraft. It is a beauty! To you, 'pops', you have obviously raised a really smart and dedicated young lady. Special thanks to Bose for supplying the new headsets for you to use.
Thank you for the EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! I just love you for allllllll the camera angles 🥰🥰🥰 I see that the camera on the left wing rotates...wondering how you achieved that. Loving the view from the camera.
I almost bought 484HP! I was talking with the dealer about it and went on vacation. Came back and it was under contract. REALLY fun to see you fly it, and glad you were able to get it! My wife saw the tail number and we referred to this plane as Harry Potter. Great job with the plane and I hope you really enjoy it! Love the panel on this one!
Congrats Kay on your first flight without an instructor, you did great. Pop sure seemed to enjoy himself even if he was a little overwhelmed. What a thrill it must be moving up from a single to a twin with all the extra power. How do you like the A30 over the A20? I'm shocked that you removed the AC unit out of the plane, got to be getting rather hot there in Texas. Did you remove it due to the weight factor for your training? Wishing you many hours of joy with Mystik
A/C was removed because it wasn't working. Pop's is going to get it charged and we'll retry it. Not sure when. With this airplane, it's not a huge deal as it can fly to very cool temps even in the heat of summer! :)
Great video. You seem like you have been flying Mystik forever. I know you still have a lot to learn as I do everytimke I watch one of you videos. Keep up the great work and I look froward to the next video. Hi Pops!
i am 68 years old. never been in a plane.but watching you it looks fun. great job you are doing. pops is great.have your left gear checked.looks like it jerks going up and down. might be normal. show video to mechnic of landing. tryed to join but it would not take my card. luv new cameras. tell pops great job. i will pray for your safe flights good day.
Kay, I just loved this video! Pop's, you are looking so good! What have you done? I have to comment on your new camera set up Kay, it's awesome!I loved the left wing camera slow rotation to help show off your beautiful new bird, as you call it, and the right side camera for useing the lens that shapes the horizon in to a sphere! Great video editing to, who does that you or Pop's? Looking forward to more videos! Are you going to Oshgosh this year? Take care, Kay.
Ya know, this is my favorite of all of your videos I’ve ever seen. Your Dads pride/excitement was so awesome to see. That’s one proud papa for sure. Happy Father’s Day Pops.
Love your new plane! She’s an elegant lady for sure ❤ Already ordered my Mystik T-shirt 😊 Gotta help you stay in the skies! Would love to see you at our airport (CRW)!
I’ve been watching you for a while and love how much you enjoy just flying! I have to ask, why on earth ( living in Texas in the summer ) would remove the AC system ??? You sync the props by ear, not gage. The gage will get you close, your ears will get you synced.
A nice gift for Father's Day, a fam flight in your new Seneca. You mentioned electric trim and I noticed there isn't a trim switch on the yoke. I'm surprised, I would have thought that electric trim came standard on a twin Seneca, I guess not.
Why take a supply of traffic cones in case you need to land on the freeway, you could close some lanes while you wait for clearance 😃✌️❤️🇬🇧only teasing!
Way to go pops! Solid OG representing! Y’all gonna be in Oshkosh next month? If so I’d love to meet you guys. I’m a G280/ G650 pilot in Atlanta and love y’all’s channel.
The Wing shots are awesome, with what I assume is a Insta 360 on the wing ! Looks like it was a beautiful day to fly ! I use a GoPro Max to video rides on my Recumbent Trike, and it provides great video, but it uses up tons of Storage to record the video. How is the Insta ( if that's what your using) on storage, and editing! Love your Videos, as I'm a Avaition Enthusiast , closest I've come to getting a Private Pilots certification , I took a Ground School, from a A-4 pilot, while in the Navy, Stationed at Guantanamo Bay Cuba in the mid 80s. Was going to get my Pilots certificate, but to solo you had to fly to an Island, and back, due to the limited airspace on base. They didn't want to risk one of us I overflying Cuban Airspace, and getting shot at ! Neither did I, of having to Ditch in the Ocean. Then life got in the way, and I've never gotten that certificate. Enjoy you Seneca ! Don't worry about the dialog, you concentrate on flying that beautiful bird, we'll wait untill you get more accustomed to it ! Be safe !
And I got to see the schedule of this flight over the weekend, awesome! Pops looks soooo proud and excited about the new plane. Well done with this flight Kay. :)
I got my twin rating in a "Twin Commanche" - many many years ago (about 40 years ago), and I gave up flying about 35 years ago, so some of my procedures are a bit rusty, now. I enjoyed your flight. Thanks.
Oh my goodness...reminds me of when I use to fly with my dad, in the Navajo. I love how you have your cameras mounted , and they can spin all the way around...at least on the one wing... I saw a really neat looking horse farm you flew over.. I trained horses for over 40 years so I notice them even from the air..lol That was a beautiful flight Kay and Pops... Keep up the fun flying ...
At Oshkosh last year I won a pair of Lightspeed Delta Zulu head sets. I love them. Yeah, I actually one something. I sure wished when you did your control checks you did ailerons and elevators at the same time to make sure there is no binding while using both control services at the same time. Your dad seems like a good guy, does he have any training or licenses as his radio work is good and appears to have some familiarity. You're a CFI, give him the controls
Time to get the A/C fixed.
I'll start and hope others feel the same way.
A/C FUND!
Haha I love this and THANK YOU!!! I’m trying to get it fixed before it gets even hotter😂
@@FlyWithKay Oh, don't remind me: it gets hotter! I guess that's why we call it H-town :)
I want to learn to fly so much!!!!!

I hope she sees this message
She knows about keeping weight in the baggage area. 👍

Enjoy the new plane, a great machine!
Check out Valerie flying her Baron 58TC. Skylinebaron pilot on you tube. She does a good takeoff briefing.
You might consider adding a vertical card compass.
if there is anyone who’d I’d trust in a new twin aircraft, it’s Kay! You are the most detailed, checklist oriented pilot I know! Super detailed and safe! Enjoy learning your new MYSTIC🧑✈️❤️
You killed it Pops great job. Love the new canera angles. This new airplane is totally awesome. You killed it Kay here's to bigger better adventures 🍻
Excellent video. Hi Pops, your daughter is amazing. Enjoy getting to know Mystik, she is a beautiful bird.😊
Thanks so much
Love the flight with Pops! ❤❤❤ MystiK is a good girl. Nice new headsets too!!! Thanks Bose❤❤❤
i love this plane! i also appreciate the different camera angles. great work
Memories of doing anything with your dad… priceless!
I looooovvveee that fisheye wing shot. Beautiful!
Thanks!
@@FlyWithKay The camera is excellent 360, but it's odd looking, making the wing look longer than it really is (to my eyes)
Me too….
Loved the 360 pan!
Aww your pops is sooo proud of you, love how excited he is!
Great job, Kay, as always!!!
Wow, Pops dropped some weight 👍
Love the panning wingtip cams
Squirtlet. Now that’s a classic descriptor if I ever heard one!.
Is that a nickname for an offspring?
(I recall a neighbor kid being called "squirt", back in the day.)
I was just gonna say something too that's hilarious. Im calling my kids squirtlets for now on😂😂😂
I love squirrlet I call my girls Spawn 1,2&3
So cool from wing shot. Looks like the edge of the earth in background.
That wing camera really show the earth’s curve very well!
Also congratulations to pops flint!
Bose make the best headsets in the world in my opinion! Kudos to them for giving them to you!!
Really enjoyed this flight with you and pops. Great landing also. Loving the camera views, especially the left wings 360° rotation capability. Can't wait until your next video, hopefully a trip somewhere.
I am really hoping everyone loves the 360 views! You made my day pointing that out.
Kay good video but when you pull out on to the runway and power up I love to hear the engines. There is just something sweet to hear those engines go to full power.
Oh okay! I will add that in on the next video🥰

Very cool first flight with Pops! Everyone is learning and understanding things better, which is awesome. Can't wait to see what happens going forward, very exciting!
Hi Pops! I love his enthusiasm lol he's so excited. Fun video. Nice landing.
Pop's says, "HI!" My landing isn't perfect yet in this airplane but thank you for saying it was nice!
Bravo for Bose!! They are great headsets!! 👍
Really LUUUUUUURV "Mystik" She's a Beaut!
Y'all are so cool! I let my daughter order me around every now and then too! lol What a great job y'all do together! Thank you. I love this.
Thanks so much!!
You can tell Kay was raised the right way. Great job Mom and Dad.
Beautiful aircraft. Love her counter rotating props.
Kay, you and Pops looked real happy, enjoy Mystik. Great landing. Love from England.
The views from the 360' cameras are amazing!
I absolutely love how your dad gets sooooo happy and excited. That’s awesome!!
Outstanding flight. You looked like a pro in your new plane. Keep up the good work!👍

Glad when pops shut his door. I was getting worried!
Awesome Kay! A Dual Prop, now we have MystiK!
I love how open Pops is to expressing his feeling of overwhelm. I really enjoyed this first flight.
Congratulations girl🙌 So happy for you! Amazing landing 👍🏼
That glass cockpit looks awesome!
Pops looked like a kid in the candy store, happy to see him flying again. Mystik is fantastic aircraft enjoy watching you fly her/him?
Fantastic 👏 beautiful blue skies 😊

Thank you for the EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! I just love you for allllllll the camera angles 🥰🥰🥰

So happy for you, Kay‼️ Loved this video and seeing proud papa‼️ Mystic is a beauty‼️
Oops….misspelled the planes name…MystiK
just stay focused and in 6 months you will be right back to your chatty self we all love!
Awesome video! So happy you're flying multi now!
Great airplane I wish you many happy flights with it Kay !
Kay, I must say your beautiful (pre-owned) Piper Seneca looks absolutely BRAND NEW, outside and inside.
THANK YOU BOSE for sponsoring our friend “ FLY GIRL” KAY ! ! When I’m in the market for sound equipment I will remember BOSE.

Congratulations looking Great In Your New Bird
Dad!! Well done. You have raised a beautiful and accomplished daughter. She is an asset to aviation we we are proud of her!
Awesome video and loving your Pops being overwhelmed, a beautiful aircraft and your landing looked real smooth. xxxx ❤️
So pops has experience in this aircraft type. Always a good idea to have a second pilot with you.
Great video. You seem like you have been flying Mystik forever. I know you still have a lot to learn as I do everytimke I watch one of you videos. Keep up the great work and I look froward to the next video. Hi Pops!

Welcome to the 12 cylinder club. I feel your gratitude! My Baron thinks your Seneca is kinda cute. BTW, You have an awesome dad :)
Great flight with Pops also you're very comfortable. Your jubilance will be back as in Lil Red
Does it switch tanks automatically? Thanks
Haha thank you! And no I don’t switch tanks in this airplane because I have one tank per engine😊
1. The 360 wing cam looks awesome!
2. OMG the wing cam is so far away from you on the new plane, lol
Love your attention to checklists, Kay. So many GA's have cavalier attitude to this.
Great, like the set up you’ve done with the cameras 😊
Congratulations! Kay, on your first solo flight in Mystik. Job well done!

Awesome video editing of all the cameras… love the channel even though I know less than none of flying.
Wonderful treat on Father’s Day weekend! Thank you 8:44

😀 This is great. Never flew that model. Looking forward to your future flights.
I love my Bose Pro Flight 2's. So nice to see someone enjoying a new aircraft. Happy Monday from Hong Kong.
Yea! I’ve been waiting for this video! Love the new plane!
