Man your English so amazing so i even not being native english user understood EVERYTHING. Thank you for optimization. Stay safe and healthy. Hello from Ukraine.
I did everything you said and it doesn't seem to work in Contact unfortunately. The big trick for the base game seems to be picking your setting then lowering your draw distances to take stress off the cpu until you can just about max your gpu utilization.
Its arma, based on A2 engine thats very old, it also deppends on the mission. Those settings are the best you can do atm. I can suggest lowering view distance in city to 500m. Other than that, you need skilled missionmaker to avoid those limitations by mission design
@@Hardcore_Operator I actually got a mod that automatically lowers view distance for the sake of FPS, and I’m enjoying it a lot more (I am an FPS hog). But man I really hope Arma 4 is gonna be more polished than 3 was. They need to ditch the poor optimization.
Hey man look at it like this… you can either have a super complex, dynamic open-world sandbox with lower frames or you can have 0 latency loot boxes. Always pros and cons
Keep in mind if your running on a 4k display as you will not need post processing as your rendering 4x as many pixels, thus you can turn it down else off. I also don't use vsync as this will be effected by how many mods and types of mods a server might be using. If your hosting, provisioning is prime especially if you might be using a hard drive and haven't migrated to M.2. If your a solo player, then you could use frame limiting to keep a GPU cooler. Please note that AMD does not use Hyperthreading as it uses SMT. Leave core count alone as it's kind of a relic left over as the game was released in 2013, and I've played it since Alpha. Though I do use file extra threads, but I'm not sure if it assists really that much. Leave malloc alone as Win 10 does fine enough these days. Leave ram alone as there's a design limit and it will use what it can. These are my perspectives and I've played with 32G even on my FX-8350, 2600, 3600XT and currently 5900X. The other visuals he got spot on pretty much. In closing, in 2023 your should have no real issue's anymore and you already know how the game play is going to be on your favorite server.
Probably something wrong with your hardware. I’d check SSD/HDD - RAM - GPU - CPU in that order assuming everything else outside gaming is functioning as expected.
its so fucked up , singleplayer i have 70-100 fps on ultra when I play multiplayer its always 70fps at base and when I go to the war/city area it drops to 30fps on Ultra or Lowest settings it doesn't fucking matter. I don't understand what changes
@@beastmasterbg This is arma. As mentioned at the beginning, nothing much you can do than inves heavily into a good CPU. Some settings make it so it utilizes your CPU more and strains your CPU slightly less, but do not expect black magic. Ryzen 7 7800x3d is best for arma rn
@@Hardcore_Operator Difference is noticeable, even in the video. HDR off makes it look like Arma 2, with it on colours are much more natural, and the difference in performance is negligible. I personally do not recommend sharpening, very subtle sharpening at most is acceptable, if your monitor is already calibrated.
Just as a heads up: You don't have to adjust the default viewdistance settings at all, when using my mod. Leave them at whatever value they are and when you disable Automatic View Distance the game will revert to those settings.
Thanks chief, but Imma be honest, recently I started to prefer CH View Distance. Automatic view distance is a nice concept, but when it changes view distance rapidly, it actually drops FPS (at least from what I noticed)
People still believe these so called fps boost tweaks? I mean the game engine is old and barely utilize all of the hardware and resources even if you do all of the tweaks it is only temporary. Also when joining MP session with large players on the server it is expected to encounter heavy FPS drops since the game engine barely able to compensate everything that is happening at once. Setting the graphics to standard - high on single player is fine but on multiplayer session rather set them to standard or low to compensate random pop-ins and delayed texture loading and fps drops even with the use of nvme m.2 performance won't improve that much as only Bohomia Interactive are the only one who can really fix and improve the games performance or even utilize newer hardware.
Like 80% of the arma will still run on 1 core :( The engine is really outdated, but arma 4 will be out soon enough! imo in 1,5years, or when being optimistic at the end of this year :) Thats my personal opinion from what I am seing..

Just a heads up to look into the large page support, though to use it you need to enable lock paging in your local group policy which can be pretty technical, helps boost my FPS up a lot.
