I'm making a dog cake for my birthday is going to be realistic just giving you advice for the head you can use Rice Krispies to mold it and cover it with modeling chocolate and food coloring and they'll be better to work with

So adorable! I’m wondering if you could make few cakes like Corgi, Jack Russell, Boston Terrier and Chihuahua? Also you made few cats. My cat is Manx with with mix color and short tail. You don’t have to hurry. Just take your time. I love to see it. You did great job! 😁👍🏻

very good tutorial. I cringe however when I see a lot of fondant used hat will go on a waste because no body would eat it (the dog paws for example). I wonder how many people this kind of cake would serve. Thank you anyways I loved the demo!

Hi Laura how far up the sphere tin did you go with your cake batter pls? I've made a great job of the carving for a 1st attempt, but after 5 attempts I can't get the right sizes head 😢
@@rebeccadamato4626 I use a pyrex bowl as I don't have a sphere tin, but I usually fill the bowl with batter around an inch and a half from the top 😊
@LauraLoukaides without knowing what the size of your bowl is and how much batter in each I'm none the wiser, but I really, really appreciate you responding thank you 💖
I've given up and made the head from RKT it'll have to do lol.
@@rebeccadamato4626 no problem at all. The bowl is around 6 inch round (at the top). You can also make the head using Rice Krispy Treats if preferred 😊

3 6inch cakes which are each 2inch deep should work just fine 😊

A buldog doesn't have his ears pointed to the front. Theyre pointed to the side. And also theyre tails arent curled, cuz theyre not long enough for that. Theyre just a straight rly short tail.
But still I love the cake
