I just wanted to thank you for leaving this on UA-cam for so long. This is basically part of my childhood and I’m very happy that I was watching cake videos instead of crazy youtubers. ❤️
I'm coming back to this video after nearly 10 years. I used to love watching this video. It was always so cool to see them create something like this out of something edible
I initially saw this incredible video after I first really and truly was getting clean from an eight year opiate painkiller addiction. It’s been 10 years and this video-the music-the artist who made this fantastic cake(and she IS an artist IMHO,) absolutely CAPTIVATED me and helped me tremendously with changing my obsession and negative mindset. To that I say a heartfelt THANK YOU, from a grateful recovering drug addict! ❤️☺️
Thank you so much for your strength and perseverance and honesty. This means so much to me and I hope you are continuing to do well and channel more of the good in life than the bad. Wishing you only happiness and success.
I remember watching this exact video when I was like 3 or 4 years old. Had a small memory of this. Now I remember and decided to come back to this video, thankyou.
Wow good to know its still in youtube i watched this since im young my mom and i love to watch cake decorating so thank you because i found this this is my favourite video when i was young❤
All the talent of a great baker and sculptor. There's no way I could eat this, unless she made two of them. It's for dad though. He's probably seen a few.
WOW! This was my first video that I watched that is related to cakes! I didn't know that it was you who made it! This video is the one that inspired me before to become a great Baker!
Your cake turned out beautifully -- I bet the person you made it for was thrilled. How long did this actually take you to make it? I was exhausted at watching the amount of work in a 4-1/2 minute time lapse video!
Hello. I have to make this cake but as a black poodle and the head has to be cake. Where did you get the cardboard that you built three cake on? Also I noticed you used dowls to help you note where the legs would be going. Did you leave these dowls in or did you just use the icing? I'm makin the head out of cake any tips on how to do this would be much appreciated. Many thanks Jade-Marie
this is splendid, it's very realistic but it doesn't look like something you would want to eat because it was a hard work of art and they're eating it all.
Gorgeous cake, although I am puzzled, is that polystyrene for the head or hardened Krispies? I've never made a cake to this size but I also sculpt animal cakes,
Leinth Storm Yes! You can make the head out of cake- I show that in my craftsy class but I didn't need that much cake and I was traveling far with it so I didn't want to take a chance!
I attended a birthday party in korea and the celebrant's cake is like this dog sculpture. they also served dog meat dumplings and dog stew. it was the best dinner.
So cute!! I love your work! What kind of cake do you use to sculpt out of? That cake looked sturdy but not dry at all. Looked like it would be awesome for detailing !
Kim Weeks Thanks- its our delicious vanilla cake- most popular. It is in our books or online classes...you can also just google and it will come up I bet
Arturs Gubeiko I made it from styrofoam since I didn't need too much cake but I show how to make the dog 100% cake in my Craftsy video. A LINK for the discount is in the description above
Could you please tell me what icing you are using to cover the dog and tool you use to make the fur look like that? looks too soft and wet for regal ice!
drummy Tibeb It's styrofoam but I do show how to make the entire dog out of cake (the head too) in my Craftsy class...there is a link in the description for 50% OFF too!
+Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes I didnt think you would show the whole process thanks for that the only thing I didnt like about your cake is eating it all that work and came out so beautiful it makes you want to preserve it for ever
Nice work! Can someone please tell me what song it is playing in the video? I am literally in love with it and I cannot find it. I would really appreciate it :P
at 3:45 I show how I use a scalpel to make the markings of fur- or now I have a fur impression mat available at marvelous molds (dot) come-makes much easier
jess kendall I used to use the back of a scalpel or a veining tool- you can still use that but Marvelous Molds now has a texture mat for fur that makes it so much easier. They have for straight hair and curly hair
Nossa!! Lindo demais!!! Ficou parecendo um cachorro de verdade! Só não gostei de uma coisa a cabeça ser feita de isopor.. poderia ter sido feita de bolo também....
Hi! Just from a craft store like Michaels or a cake store. You can also build out of Rice Krispies. it was about 6inches but depends on your size cake. This was a LARGE cake-fed over 60 pearls. The cake rounds were 9-inches!
always have been watching this since I was still young.
Thank you!
I keep returning to the Lego Batman one myself, really well done. Great videos.
@@ConfettiCakescan you please tell me how much time did you spend to make it ?

@@ConfettiCakesrevisiting this video again!
What did you use for the head? Was that wax you carved? Then covered with fondant?
Hi! It was styrofoam- but you can definitely carve out of cake or modeling chocolate! I'm going to do a bust head soon so look out for that video!
I dont think the word talented is enough , you are way beyond talented !

I would rather use rice Krispy treats for the head rather than foam.
Smort it wasn’t foam, but it was actually a edible food I think. I don’t know what it is called though.
Delta_Wolfie It is indeed foam. How do I know that? I scrolled further lol
I think foam is much lighter.
I watched a realistic dog cake video and it suddenly reawakened this memory of me watching this exact video several times as a child
