@@chengleong I would recommend the dark sky project. I wasn't able to get the tickets that day so we went for the chameleon sky gazing tour instead. We went when there was more than half moon so no Milky Way. Best timing to go gazing is in winter. November will be good but try to choose a day with a new moon instead to get the best experience!

I think its was between 10-20C so its quite pleasant. But the winds can pick up so you might need a windbreaker to not feel cold!

Hi, the distance between Christchurch and Franz Josef is about 5-6 hours drive! From Queenstown it’s about a 4-5 hours drive
