I assume you based this claim based on Rajinkanth's discussion in IR's 75 year celebration. In one of the recent music program, Ilayaraja performed this song. So i really think Rajinikanth mixed up Pandian movie with Valli movie. IR wouldn't have performed this song unless it was composed by him

@@vimalpercy Actually one of my friends met K.Raja in a resort (in Pondicherry I guess) and asked whether it was him, he said yes (or nodded). May be the BGMs were done by IR, not sure.

Thanks a lot for the honest comment! This channel is to give inspiration to young music instrument players to represent an existing song bit differently to enhance their creativity. If we are to represent the same song exactly the same then there is no creativity involved, so adjusted a few things to sound a bit different. Sorrry that it didnt matched your taste!
