I wish these games got more attention. Galaga is nice and all, but the R-Type games have the most depth out of all the shoot 'em ups I've played, and I'm not just talking about the number of ships. The combat loop in general is just a solid 11/10.

Heya, liked the vid, but I think there's a few you didn't show off quite all the way For the Force Wave Cannon, having the force detached from your fighter has a second wave cannon shot fire from the force alongside the one you normally fire. Wave Cannon X/XX: With these one, if you hit something that's not invincible and it survives, you'll get purple bullets that'll home in on a target. I think when you hit the battleship with it outright, it never showed it off properly. Maybe hitting the engine or some tanky enemy would show that off better. Nanomachine Wave Cannon: You can control where that shot goes with the right control stick, might be hard to show that off and get the idea of what it's doing, though. Other than the Shower Cannon, which is pretty much the same as the Gold Rush and Prism, I think you did a pretty good job showing off the wave cannons.

While this more has to do with R-Type as a whole, if there is one thing that R-Type Final (and by extent Final 2) has made me ask... What is with the naming conventions for some of the various ships of the series? (Not the numbering, but the ships actual name) Like, theres no problem with it, its just... Why are they named the way they are?
Used a trainer to facilitate the recording, you can get infinite credits in the story mode though, after playing for quite some time, you can unlock freeplay

Stellar Belt because "IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR" while the Mini Burst/Tesla Bunker/Shockwave/Giga Wave Cannon is like "Skibidi Bop mm Dada"
Tied between Mini Burst Wave for looking cool and splash damage and Hyper since Ragnarok is awesome.
Ah, this brings me back. I had such a great time with this game unlocking ships. Hoping to see some new ones in Final 2. Can't wait to play it.
