Definitely one of my favorite Homeworthy episodes showcasing the importance of a home's history, a family's history and blending the two together to make a home "a member of the family". This lady has a true understanding of design!
This home is unique, interesting, very beautiful and a departure from the norm, all the while remaining traditional at its core. Art to live in really.
This is a phenomenal home. Thank you for featuring it. As a nearby Minnesota resident, I’d love to tour this someday! The designer was fun to listen to, and she really goes above and beyond, particularly with scale and color. And the art! Wow.
So creative, yet warm and inviting! I spent sixty-four years in Minnesota, but am now in the Lake Country area of Wisconsin and renting for two years to be near family before retiring back to the Twin Cities again. I’d love to see what you could do with a smaller rental, Victoria. So many people are renting for a multitude of reasons.
I adore the overall design and the details as well; stone, metal, glass. How you populated and kept space. How you lit the space. Color palette so warm and beckoning. Pocket doors! Practical surprises offered up as works of art in and of themselves. Brilliant - every corner. Your presentation was thorough and easy to listen to. Really enjoyable and inspirational as well.
The Negroni room colors are perfect and the dining table is really beautiful! Her explanations are really interesting, for example how much climate deserves consideration indoors, as well.
A home I’d like to visit. Not somewhere I’d want to live. It has a museum feel to me. So many colors going on in the kitchen. All pretty though. So many different pulls…
Some cool choices, but good luck with that glass open shelving feature in the kitchen! Also, leaning hard into burgundy...interested to see how that color feels in 5 years.
Very interesting home. I enjoyed many elements but every room felt like we were in a completely different house and it seems like they didn’t edit down any ideas. If the homeowner loves it then that’s all that really matters but there’s just a lot going on here
The kitchen had beautiful & expensive cabinets, countertops, Islands, & other features. Just my opinion but I felt that the kitchen was way too busy. The materials & the colors did not coordinate well together. IMO, the bathroom inspired by a glass of water also had materials that did not flow well together I loved the rest of the house.❤
Waterfall counters and double islands are not that popular anymore. Ik I'm supposed to love all these high dollar and custom materials, but overall to me the vibe isn't comfortable: the constant switch ups in texture, shape, & color; all that money and just not a lot of charm.
@@robinbradley2229 yeah when she told that I was like oh okay I guess, but girl, she got the client to get a one ton table. one whole azz ton like wut now 🤣
This is how you do beautiful interior design. Creative. Art. Balanced. Warm. Cozy. Elegant. Perfection👌🏼
The blends of moody luxury, comfort, contemporer, and modern. ❤ this

Love the choice of color in the bedroom.
It's a beautiful house. I like the simplicity of the guest room the best.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us. An amazing collection of art and furnishings.
Love the vibe and the designer. She is articulate and supports the homeowners vision.
I loved this! So aesthetically appealing to me. Thanks for sharing!
Love the idea of using beverages as inspiration for a home design
Beautiful and turnkey. Every space is impeccable.

This is so well thought out and detailed. I can’t believe they did this in 6 months 😮

It's a beautiful home. Just too much darkness for me. It would leave me depressed.
I love the color palette, it’s calm interesting and yet has lot of color with out being busy.
Beautiful home.
love the juxtaposition of formal and funky elements. Very interesting and fun! ❤
What a vibe!!! Stunning.
So fun ! Love all the deep colors

This is so different and unique! I love it 😍
Love it! Favorite piece is the high gloss double sided kitchen appliance/bar cabinet
Lovely home and host. 😊
Beautiful home. Looks very Lux.
Dress is beautiful!!! Love the design of this home.

Gorgeous!
A beautiful wreath on the door would look so good!!!!!!

I loved the rest of the house.❤

❤❤❤❤❤
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Okay it’s all very fabulous and opulent. But who let them put rock climbing holds on the island for hardware???
Reminds me of a designers showcase home where various designers do a room. Nothing goes together. Makes me dizzy.

Exactly how I felt about the kitchen and the "glass of water" inspired bathroom.
I did think that the rest of the house was attractive.

СУППЕР❤❤❤
Some people on here are going to be triggered by that book title of the owners 😅😅
Can anyone speak without a? At the end of each sentence?
That dress… why?
