It is a "rezeki" that Jimmy lost in no where and found a pond. Very clever of Jimmy to mingle around with the teenagers. Thank you Jimmy for being so generous to offer food and buy drinks for them. Thumbs up for successfully catching a fish!!! ❤

I think this is one of the best video u guy do. Its not only about the food in this video. Its about culture, friend and food. Meet some woman fluently speak japanese, and then meet some kids and make friend with them. And fishing there. Its enjoyable to watch when there are mix of content like this. And i usually dont watch most of youtube content in full length more than 10m. But i watch this from beginning to end.

Umai goooood😅. Tilapia fish was introduced by the Japanese in 1940s during WW2 as an easy source of protein because they flourish in the region. Its not native to Malaysia or Singapore. Now its everywhere.

It is our house area and so happened i know that cempedak stall and burger place . If we know that you coming to seksyen 3 we will just give you a ride after the pic session 😆 no need to order grab . I remember back in my primary school, teachers likes to encourage us to study English and often has foreigners as an example to educate the use cases of English. For instance, maybe a tourist approach us and asks for directions and we have to communicate well to help them. Here we are 20 plus years later, never ever crosses in these children minds that Jimmy would ever spend some time to talk about love stories and participate in the activity they are doing. Such a wholesome vibe, im sure its a memorable experience for them, and they get to show this video to their friends. Im sure no one would ever believe them if some foreigners joined them for fishing instead of asking for directions haha. Bangi is so underrated! But full of good food. Calm and serene environment. I used to live in KL and PJ for more than 10 years. Although smaller and less ethnic diversity but Bangi is equally decent. And best of all not much traffic jams! 😊
Bangi is underrated (to non-malays) only for one reason, the same reason why Kelantan is also underrated as foodie heaven. To the malays, even decades ago Bangi is already dubbed as halal food heaven. You may check malay blogs dating from years ago for confirmation if you'd like to.
idk if you're from Bangi, but during peak hours, the traffic there is crazy. but it is definitely a food heaven especially for IPT students.
@@Ruriko.Y I've been living in Bangi for almost 8 years now. Yeah there's a traffic jam. Only during office hours particularly at bulatan UKM, bulatan near Bangi Gateaway and the road to Kajang toll from section 9. Generally speaking, from my own experiences you'll be caught in those areas between 15 minutes to an hour during peak hours - ceteris paribus. Other than that traffic most of the times are smooth and calm. And traffic jams in Bangi are like small droplets of water in the ocean of traffic compared to KL and PJ which I used to live in before. And yes Bangi is heaven particularly for Malay food. But not much ethnic food diversity compared to KL and PJ. Cheers!

Coffee culture with those hipster cafes only mushrooming in Bangi quite recently. You can't find such cafes eight years ago. And because Bangi is a demographically Malay-Muslims majority town, there's a lack of diversity in terms of ethnic food. But not a problem, Kajang is just 15 minutes away! Cheers!
@@nusabudiman Born and raised Bangi here. It definitely goes further than mere 8 years ago. Ana Ikan Bakar Petai, for one, already exists before you moved here. We might not have much of hipster cafes before Bangi Central normalised it, but the reputation of syurga makanan already exist to the point Bangi people, of whom are mostly malays, rarely feel the need to go to Kajang to get their tastebuds diversified even 20 years ago. Yes, Samuri is overrated, plus we also have our own Samuri branch. First page of google search also shows a blog using that title for Bangi, dating back to 2015. I grew up having heard the title being used especially by Putrajaya people back when they started flocking around nearby areas due to administrative move to that state. Edit: patinperiuktanah website even used that title dating back to 2012.

This is the real jalan-jalan cari makan. Found 3 makan places that were unplanned. Plus found 1 place where he can catch a live ingredient for makan 😆😆. The Bangi boys are good at fishing, at speaking, at sharing a skill, at welcoming a stranger 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I wonder whether they'll get into trouble now that the whole world knows they have gf 🙀🙀
