Jimmy really heard us and he’s giving more solo vlog like this! Yay! 🤩🤩 Btw the part where you asked the manager “why they can eat a lot” and the manager reply “because they can eat” is so funny to me. You know why? Because in Malay, it sounds like this “Sebab boleh Jimmy” 🤣🤣🤣 You might not understand this joke, it’s current local joke 🤣🤣
I can stop smilling watching through this video… Especially when i see Jimmy and uncle Asai keep talking together, its such a pleasure and heartwarming to watch them
This is as local as you can get - going on the inner roads of Brickfields (short cut) on a motorcycle with Uncle Asai who is familiar with the area. Smart of Jimmy to ask for a ride 👍🏼👍🏼. Jimmy is getting used to asking questions like a Malaysian. More of this kind of street interviews!
It's good Jimmy can continue chit chatting with this uncle. Malay say 'layan berborak' with the elderly. Sign of respect and i see this uncle also like to chat with others.
Hi Jimmy... what you have learned from Mr Asai on his bike, we called it... "CILOK" (chill-lock : weaving through multiple lines of vehicles) hahaha.. Nice Jimmy!
We Malaysians are family. We called among us Malaysians with "uncle", "aunty" or "pakcik" and "makcik" for older ppl, "adik" for youngers and "abang or kakak" for those who're like around 3-5 years older than you. Use it and you can feel more closer 😉
I feel like watch a reality tv show on Japanese expatriate living in Msia. Keep on doing with what you think that make you feel happy👍🏻 lots of Msian support you. Stay safe & be safe always ✌🏻🫰🏻
Indian Uncle, I wanna say thank you! Jimmy is very friendly. I hope your family or daughter may find this video entertaining! Haha...Uncle really have shown very kind hospitality here! Am smiling as I watched Jimmy on the go. Thumbs up! Uncle :) Got chance, I'll visit your shop and say hello too. Jimmy, what a wonderful experience for you. Haha..
I don't have any close Indian friends, but some of my best random encounters with a stranger are with these Indian uncles. I remember my car out of petrol and this uncle was just passing by on his motor. Gave us a ride to petrol station 5,6 km away to buy petrol and brought us back. Didn't even get to know his name. 😢
I think Jimmy needs to try all the Indian non-rice dishes - thosai, iddly, utthapam, uppuma, white and red chutneys, moru ais, puttu mayam, etc. Mainly available in the morning. Not all Indian restaurants sell all of these, I recommend Sri Seenu (used to be Sri Paandi) and PJ Hills restaurants, near UM Hospital in PJ.
yes get urself a moto its very efficient in kl, i live here for 13 years got a moto 5 yrs back, i came to know a new kl, would be glad to take you with my humble moto to take some videos
Uncle Asai is a legend! A family man is always kind hearted. They are used to giving. RM 1 masala tea? Really? Still exist? Teh o is now RM1.20😅. Use the hand😂. Nice episode🎉🎉🎉😊
Nice Jimmy, i as Malaysian and live in KL also does not know the place..hehehe😂 keep explore and thanks for your videos of Amcorp Mall in Petaling, you were really help to promote it🎉❤
So nice to have a father picking you up from school eventhough you are an adult. My dad used to pick me up from my work place when I was in my 20s. I missed my dad. 😔
Jimmy!..Your solo journey is getting more exciting. You seem so lively exploring those Malaysians stuff; food, people. Your random conversations with fellow Malaysians are so warm to watch. Keep it up!
Jimmy ,just a suggestion , you can also partly speak Japanese language when explaining the situation so that your followers back in Japan could understand more clearly on your beautiful adventure in Malaysia. thanks
True , Indian national can eat a lot and still not obese, that’s why they are strong and tough people.. with all the herbs and veggies intakes…uncle was so amazingly kind and friendly 👍 I was laughing when you were playing with the kitchen tools especially the wood😂,.. and not for beating up people ya🤣
Where Mr Asai stopped to pick up his daughter, head downward to a side lane between the next office block, you will find extremely delicious Indian buffet stall served in claypots. Look for the signboard that has the name Lawanya Stall. It is very popular and the prices very good. Aunty Lawanya also served healthy breakfast menu which you will not find other places.
Thank you Jimmy for bringing us to another adventure. If you like banana leaf, go give Bananabro a shot, the curries, vege and rice are unlimited refill.
Jimmy, you have just done something amazing! You reminded us our Malaysia really SATU MALAYSIA! You reminded us too how beautiful our country and people are. Thank you Uncle Asai for humble hospitality to Jimmy. Next Jimmy can try visit Batu Caves. Looking forward for your more video! Gambateh!💪
Many Indians and Chinese that left their home countries from early days would have lost touch with families back home. I'm one of them, all generations before me that I know off are in Singapore. We totally have no ties to families in India but I'm sure they are relatives there but all had lost touch.. the Claypot rice look nice
Unexpected things happened when you jalan2😅you came to know someone and suddenly it became part of your vlog.Very nice just like the last vlog fishing with the boys❤😂 love it❤❤
Hi Jimmy, i am not a very foodie person but I have watched most of your videos. But today, thanks to you, I found out there is a new temple in that area. I enjoy discovering new temples. Thanks and keep exploring new possibilities!!
こんにちは Jimmy, the vibes of visiting other cultures in Malaysia is some sort of never ending treasure hunt🤭 We as local Malaysian is also amazed with all the utensils that was found in each cultures. Thank you for sharing such videos as this would be an eye opener to all especially local & foreign tourist. Take care & looking forward to your next “dragon ball” hunt.
Waw Jimmy today you're so lucky 🍀 the Indian uncle very friendly to bring u with motorcycle 🤣 masala tea 🍵 very nice..happy weekend & let's explore more🌿☘️🍃🪺
When you order in claypot they will mix everything in the claypot. If you like them separately just order normal nasi kandar. Most mamak restaurants employ workers from other countries espcially India.
Pengalaman yg baik..n dapat video yg bagus jugak..peribahasa in malay..🌹sambil menyelam minum air 🌹dapat makan nasi claypot kambing yg sedap n naik motor di KL...good moment...🌺🌸🌻🌷
Wow Jimmy you’re really being a Malaysian already. Hahaha. Now you’re making me hungry. 😩😩😩😩. The wooden thing is a food masher. We use it a lot to make Dhall and for mashed spinach curry. And you’re right, it’s to keep the food hot like chappatis, thosai and idlis. Even I didn’t know they are selling beautiful versions of it. Now I know and will get it when I’m back in Malaysia. Always though I only can get it in India. Thanks so much Jimmy!! Bless you 😍🙏🏻
Tamil is more southern India and generally not widely used among Northern / Western India who speaks more Hindi. The Indians in MY are mostly from South India, only smaller numbers came from Northern India like Punjab region.
This clay pot dish is called satti sorru if I not mistaken. Its spiciness is usually above average compare to most other common Indian curry dishes, and because claypot contains heat well, it usually served very hot, hot + spicy make the dish taste even more spicy😅 that’s also why it is recommended to remove the rice from claypot and put into a flat plate to portion by portion to make it easier to eat.
My friend died in this place 9years ago. When people find his body side of the road, the wallet was stolen, car key+car gone. His parent didnt want to carry out investigation cause of death. So case closed just like that. Just be care in this place especially at night.
Hahahahahaha this is the most authentic video of Malaysian life I have ever seen... it kind of reminds me of those "Lat" comic books I used to read. Jimmy, keep up the good work, this is very entertaining! 🤩🤩🤩
