you guys are 100% Spot on with the Locker option and just how important it is, but not only that, LISTEN UP Toyota... LOCKERS that can be engaged in ANY ( ANY ANY ANY ) Drive mode... No comprende ??
We would appreciate a good/bad “long term” update on the Ranger, performance and quality- unbiased opinion. How does it compare to your Tacoma for initial impressions. Thank you.
Love the videos, guys. Lots of inspiration for my Ranger. What offset option do you have for the wheels, and any affiliate code for them? Also, what are you doing to do for the lift since I don't see any out yet.
Both Toyota and Nissan lock you out of the locker unless your in 4LO. And the frontier, well the Pro-4X at least, has the M226 variant of the D44. Im looking into ways for rewiring mine to work like an anytime locker shown here.
I feel like you're going to compare to the ko3's for the upcoming video which seems like every video. Have you guys looked into the Rubitrek from the same Falken? Its always overlooked
Pretty sure the ground clearance was 9.3, not 8. Something. Site says 9.3 for 4x4. Previously the truck came with Goodyear 31.1 shown in an earlier video. You have a larger tire size which means the original approach was already over 30 degrees .
Gents- love the channel, you guys are doing great! Question: I’m in the market for a ‘24 XLT FX4. Did you have to lift yours to accommodate the new tires?
@@TexasTruckChannel thank you! If I understand correctly, suspension geometry can be tricky ( angles etc) do you plan on doing the work yourself? Or will you take it to a 4x4 shop and let someone else do the work?
@@TexasTruckChannel no. I just noticed on my ranger if I run the stock wheels with any wider than stock tire. It’s going to rub on the steering knuckle

Not just Toyota, Nissan too. They both lock you out of the locker unless your in 4Lo.
Well done fellas!
Enjoy your content!
Awesome!

We filmed this episode last weekend. Stay tuned ✌️

Hello! No we did not need to lift it. But we will be lifting it soon as well. Thanks for watching.

I figured out. On my own why you guys needed to put after market wheels on to fit those tires lol
One reason and one reason only. #mallcrawler

Oh interesting. We heard rumors of that, but didn’t test it ourselves.
@@TexasTruckChannel yeahhh lol. Good videos though. Really appreciate you guys commenting back !!!
We appreciate you watching and contributing!
i was excited for the video thinking it was a raptor but its just a xlt :(
Factory option for off road? Ground clearance! And I'll live with LSD. Non factory add-on for off road? Tires!
Any plans to go on offroad trails other than this hill?
Absolutely!
I cannot imagine picking a locker and 2WD over no locker and 4WD.
I hope the 2025 Ranger comes with an option to NOT have a ridiculously large screen in the dash.
The Colorado has a bigger screen (11.3) than the Ranger (10.5)
In person the screen is great
