The reason the water is that color is because the water is super cold glacial water. It sort of does remind you of tropical waters but those waters are blue for a totally different reason. What an amazing experience to have with your mom. Thanks for sharing it.

Yea, it is so cool to see the color from the glacial fed waters, never gets old! Thanks for watching

So amazing - breathtaking just seeing the video, I can’t imagine what it would be like to see in person. I with the difficult accessibility, less people messing it up, i can see what your mom said that it was more beautiful than Yosemite.
God has given us so many masterpieces.

Yea, it is one of the more remote places to visit for sure. It does feel really special to have an experience like this for sure.

Wow! That scenery alone was incredible even without the bears, who were a bonus! I'm taking notes for my next trip to Alaska. If you get the chance to visit Talkeetna again, I highly recommend the Talkeetna Air Taxi flight to Summit Denali. We did that in May and the weather was perfect enough that we were able to summit Denali as well as Mt. Hunter and Mt. Foraker. And we landed on the Kahiltna glacier. It was an amazing day!

Is Lake Clark, the area a individual built a cabin, and lived there for three decades? My family built a hunting cabin in the Adirondacks. Yip. The DEC, burnt-it-down, with the preposterous rule of returning-to-the-wild.

Do you have an account here on UA-cam, or on one of your other platforms, on how you managed the logistics of all the Alaska parks? How many days; if you did several (or not) in a single vacation, etc? Every time I start researching Alaska I get overwhelmed!
