Challenge ideas: Strategy vs Advantage - One of you becomes a Water Gym Trainer and the other becomes a Fire Gym Trainer (this can be done with any type advantages). Water Trainer, as he has an advantage over Fire Trainer, must randomly catch 6-8 first-seen water types, while Fire Trainer has 30 minutes to find any Fire Pokémon plus can change movset of their Pokémons. Let's see what is better: a type of advantage, strategy, and knowledge.
Sadistic Choice challenge! You guys can catch up to 6 Pokemon and you can either give that Pokemon or take it for yourself. These Pokemon can be fully evolved but the trick is, if you give a Pokemon to the other, then that person that was given the Pokemon can give it either an illegal move, any ability (besides Wonder Guard), or change it to a Legendary. So Quick could give Chillin a Ditto but Chilln could either give it a new ability, any illegal move, or use his Legendary change on it. You each HAVE to give three Pokemon each and you only get one positive effect (meaning once you use the legend on the Ditto, you can't use the legend pick again). There is strategy to this because you could potentially be forced to give away a strong mon like Archeops if you use all your takes and Chillin could give it a busted ability like Huge Power
Here's a video idea for you! You both build two teams from scratch, you get to pick the Pokemon, moves, abilities; Team Heads is the worst possible team (like a Magikarp with Splash and Slow Start), and Team Tails is the dream team (think Regigigas with Giga Impact and Huge Power). Then, flip a coin six times, if it’s heads, you add a Pokémon from the worst team, and if it’s tails, you add one from the dream team. Then battle it out!

Hey guys got an idea for ya. It’s the wheel of changes. -So you catch random encounters -you spin a wheel 0-3+ a skip option on the wheel -whatever the result whether it’s 1-3 you’re allowed to make that many changes to either its ability or specific moves you want to change (any move in the game you want to change it into) -continue till you fill the party with 6 and full evos “Example, you catch a metang with hustle, and 3 moves that are decent. If you spin the wheel and it lands on skip, you MUST skip the Pokémon. “ NOTE: if you ability capsule and it’s your last one and you receive the abilities you guys change out normally, you can reroll again.
Idea: cursed bond challenge. Catch 6 random mons, fully evolve them and pick 3 abilities and items to equip to 3 mons. The other player has to equip the same item and abilities to the 3 mons that haven't been given any ability and item yet.
Idea: Each of you picks a childhood cartoon. (Eg. Spongebob, Scooby Doo.) Make teams that represent characters from the show. Major or minor characters are ok.
I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
Challenge idea: you both catch a team of overworld encounters and then flip a coin. Heads you keep the team you caught, tails you swap teams. Do you catch all legends hoping to keep your team? Do you catch all babies hoping to swap teams? Or do you come up with your own strategy while you're catching? The choice is yours.
Stat Rotation Challenge: Random encounters only. Evolve to final evo. Random abilities and move sets. Catch a random pokemon, generate a number between 1-7. Whatever number it lands on, you rotate (clockwise) the stats that many times. Example: You catch a Blissey. (Generally 255 HP\10 Atk\10 Def \55 Spe\135 SDef\75 SpA) You roll a 3. The stat wheel is rotated clockwise by 3. So now its stats are 55 HP\ 135 Atk\ 75 Def\ 255 Spe\ 10 SDef\ 10 SpA Roll a 7 and you get to distribute stats wherever you want.
Challenge Idea: Three Truths, One Lie (Move Type Edition) Catch a Pokémon (overworld or random encounter) and read the move types but lie about one of them.
Versus Idea: Money draft or Point Draft. Money Draft: Both start with $20. Based on the Pokemon's BST determines its price. 600+: $5 500-599: $4 400-499: $3 300-399: $2 299 and under: $1 Catch as many Pokemon that you choose until you're at zero dollars. Must be at least a full team of 6, but can catch more, and Fight! Point Draft: Both start with 2000 points. Subtract the Pokemon's BST from your point total. Catch at least 6 pokemon, can be more, until you reach zero points. Can't go negative. And Fight!
Quick not going Tapu Magic Powder on Ho'oh into 5-6 hit Beat Up Super Effective strike, or not using Thunder Cage to keep the Corsola from switching in hurt my soul
Do a randomized(encounter, ability, and moveset according to type) challenge in which both of you will encounter a random pokemon, 3 skips allowed, legends allowed, 9 encounters, choose your favorite 6, the twist will be during the battle, no swapping, on your turn, roll a dice, the dice will decide your move according on the order on the moveset, if you roll 5 - choose your move, if you roll 6 - switch pokemon
Challenge idea: Randomize all the Pokémon stats and moves, but with a catch. Based on what the Pokémon is, it gets a bonus (the weaker it originally was, the more buffs it gets). (For example, a Stage 1 would get the bonuses of a Stage 1 & a Fully Evolved non-Legendary Pokémon. A Baby Pokémon would get every bonus) Originally Legendary/Mythical: No Bonuses Fully Evolved (But not Legendary): Can use any move from its list of Re-learnable moves 1st Stage: Can use *any* item Basic Pokémon: Can give any Ability (Excluding Wonder Guard, Pure Power, & Huge Power) Baby Pokémon: Can add 100 BST to it *or* can give it any 4 moves.
How about a variation of your old translation videos? I call it the Telephone Challenge. The variation is that this time instead of just translating the Pokémon name through one language, you run it through 3 languages? So you'll start with translating it from English to Japanese, then Japanese to Spanish, and then Spanish to German. This way, Cinderace in English goes to being "Aschespitze" in German, which translates to Ash Peak if you translate it back to English. You can see here that running it through multiple languages really jumbles some things up.
Challenge idea: catch whatever random encounters you want, but if they have a psychic move you MUST take it. No fully evolving mons w/ psychic moves. 6 catches.
Challenge idea- 3 skips total. catch first random encouter dual type (legendary is fine). This is now your ace . You choose any pokémon from the overworld that has one type that matches your ace(no legendarys) do this five times, then fight.
Video idea. Yes or no. You encounter a random pokemon and the other person says yes or no to catching it. The other person knows nothing about it. A total crap shoot as to what you get. All pokemon are then fully grown. ! skip allowed. You have to be in voice call the whole time. The decision may come down to the way you react when the encounter happens.
Day 36 - Both of you can catch a team of 12 Pokémon. Then you split them into two teams however you see fit with either the best in team 1 and the worst in team 2 or split them evenly. Then the other person without knowing what's in that group either chooses team a or team B they can either flip a coin or just choose it and that is what they get. As some rules any Pokémon caught randomly is good from a ditto all the way up to Mewtwo no evolutions one ability capsule and two Pokémon can have their move sets changed
How about the "Makin Plays" Challenge where you each catch 10 Pokemon that start with each letter of Makin Plays, No Skips and You cannot Fully Evolve them. However you take the best 6 you have and give them whatever Move and Ability you want. 1 Legendary is Allowed
Challenge idea: Moves choose the pokemon. You use a randomizer to get four moves then catch a pokemon that can learn one of them and that pokemon takes that whole moveset.
Vid Idea Blast from the Past -Random roll a previous episode of Vs Battle -Whoever won that episode gets to pick a pokemon from that winning team. AND one pokemon from the loser’s team for them. -get teams of 10, pick best 6 -Fight This rewards previous wins and revisits past memories. Could be fun!
Challenge idea: Move Selection Challenge You each take turns picking a pokemon move. Then randomly generate/randomly select a pokemon whose type matchese that move. The pokemon gets the move you chose, but the other 3 moves are randomized. Gives you guys a chance to get a little strategic. You could pick big attack moves, or you could pick entry hazards, or setup moves like nasty plot/swords dance. You could also be strategic about the moves you choose throughout the challenge. Water type you got from "hydro pump" was bad? Maybe you try "surf." Maybe 8-10 picks to account for any REALLY bad mons. Or just fully evolve all and do 6 picks.
I have an idea for a video: Load up super smash bros brawl and go into a match with the item pokeballs. Throw them and whatever comes out of the pokeball is what you get. Random abilities and moveset. You do this 8 times. For the ninth pokeball you pick the master ball item and throw that. Whatever comes out gets a random ability and moveset. Pick the best 6 mons that you like and battle. You can sub the other 3 in, if you want to do a best of 3 battle.
Commenting again (no longer yelling) Poke draft would be a great (maybe not the best ever) challenge Idea. Coin flip decides who goes first. 3 fully randomized starters. Player 1 get the pick of his choice. player 2 takes the mon of his choice from the 2 remaining. player 1 gets the remaining mon. in round 2 player 2 gets 1st pick and so on. do this for 9 rounds. Fully evolve all mons and build your best possible team. then you battle.
Challenge an idea: Catch over world mid stage encounters. Spin a wheel to see what can happen to that pokemon I.E. evolve up, down, reroll ability, a new TM/HM move or whatever you guys can come up with. Can have 3 skips (also works well with 2 out of 3 battles with rerolls for each mid stage)
ONE MOVE CHALLENGE You have as many skips as you like, so long as you decide before you throw the ball, but only get one turn’s worth of recon to decide. Any information you can glean in that one turn is all you get for your decision.
CHALLENGE IDEAS: You have to spin 2 wheels to get the 2 types of the pokemon. If the other player guess the pokemon contains that dual type in 3 seconds he can catch or else he'll be left with a baby of that type. Eg: wheel 1 - poison wheel 2 - electric. Other players need to guess the pokemon (toxtricity) else he'll get toxel
Here is an idea randomize the starters in Scarlet and violet and you pick by only getting the height or weight (the person getting the Pokémon chooses which they are given) of the Pokemon 3 skips allowed in case of trash.
these are always enjoyable to watch but here is a challenge idea, have actually competitive matches every now and then, give them competitive move sets & items and abilities, because these are always based on luck, whoever gets the Pokemon w the best move sets will win the majority of the time!
I have an idea. Catch 8 random pokemon, keep like 3 or 4, give 2 or 3 and have 2 skips. The kicker is each of you can chose 1 pokemon to fully evolve. So if you give a baby they could fully evolve but if you keep a baby and they give a baby you have to pick which to evolve
Video Idea! The Ironmon challenge, you each get to fight only the lab if the pokemon makes it out of the lab it's on your team! No other ironmon rules on bst and legendaries, just the random pick at the beginning.
You should do an old school runescape/pokemon challenge.. you go get a slayer task on old school runescape and you have to catch a pokemon that closely resembles that slayer monster
Do a nuzlock style encounter table. Still be randomized and everything but one mon per zone and after 9 zones pick the best 6 and battle it out. No evos just what you get raw
Try this challenge, you both pick a random Pokémon then check its moves and choose your next Pokémon according to best move this Pokémon has, like if the random Pokémon has a earthquake, you choose a ground Pokémon etc...
Challenge idea: RNG battle. Go catch 9 random encounters and pick the best 6 but only moves that have less than 80 accuracy allowed. Status moves are ok but direct damage must be rng based. Move relearner is allowed to get the low accuracy moves.
Challenge idea, Best of 3fights , 9 total sets of Randomised starters to build 3 teams of the 3 starters you must build 1 “All Star” Team , then from the remaining 2, 1 “High BST” team, 1 “Low BST” team from each set of started you have to take all 3 or non if you choose to skip 🎉
Challenge Idea: 12 rounds (6 each) Each player is given 3 images of shiny pokemon, with 1 of the pokemon having the incorrect colour. If you guess right, you get to catch the first fully evolved pokemon you see. Guess incorrectly, you capture the first 1st stage pokemon you see

Catch 6 random mons, fully evolve them and pick 3 abilities and items to equip to 3 mons. The other player has to equip the same item and abilities to the 3 mons that haven't been given any ability and item yet.
Grudge underrated for sure way to go guys another great video!
It's pretty cute how they more or less know what the other is thinking haha
A challenge riff off of this one: random encounters that you catch for each other but they can ask for either the moveset or the typing. 1 skip
Bro i never saw someone give that much love to a koffing. Could have used him as sacrifice 3 times.
eyyyy been waiting for a new quick or chillin vid
It wasn't the Pokemon he wanted, but the one he Needed! that Corsola was such a hard counter with volt absorb 🤣
Crazy how clutch that last catch was for Chilln
Stat Rotation Challenge:
Random encounters only. Evolve to final evo. Random abilities and move sets.
Catch a random pokemon, generate a number between 1-7. Whatever number it lands on, you rotate (clockwise) the stats that many times.
Example:
You catch a Blissey. (Generally 255 HP\10 Atk\10 Def \55 Spe\135 SDef\75 SpA)
You roll a 3. The stat wheel is rotated clockwise by 3. So now its stats are 55 HP\ 135 Atk\ 75 Def\ 255 Spe\ 10 SDef\ 10 SpA
Roll a 7 and you get to distribute stats wherever you want.
Idea: same challenge 3 truths 1 lie about telling each other the moveset
I miss the videos where there are 3 starters to choose from. It’s fun seeing what you miss out on
You guys should keep a record of how many challenges each person wins. Not for any reason in particular, just because it would be fun
The randomizer gave Sirfetch'd a bad hand. That nature woulda helped break something in half 😂
You been playing for years and still don't understand the game is insane lol 😂
Challenge Idea: Three Truths, One Lie (Move Type Edition)
Catch a Pokémon (overworld or random encounter) and read the move types but lie about one of them.
Versus Idea: Money draft or Point Draft.
Money Draft: Both start with $20. Based on the Pokemon's BST determines its price. 600+: $5 500-599: $4 400-499: $3 300-399: $2 299 and under: $1
Catch as many Pokemon that you choose until you're at zero dollars.
Quick starting off with thunder fang instead of thunder cage was absolutely stupid
So switching to the voltage absorb is a thing you know chillen when u know he's using an electric move.
A 45 min video? What is this heaven?
Do a randomized(encounter, ability, and moveset according to type) challenge in which both of you will encounter a random pokemon, 3 skips allowed, legends allowed, 9 encounters, choose your favorite 6, the twist will be during the battle, no swapping, on your turn, roll a dice, the dice will decide your move according on the order on the moveset, if you roll 5 - choose your move, if you roll 6 - switch pokemon
Rick chillnplay james: just give it to me
Challenge idea:
Randomize all the Pokémon stats and moves, but with a catch. Based on what the Pokémon is, it gets a bonus (the weaker it originally was, the more buffs it gets). (For example, a Stage 1 would get the bonuses of a Stage 1 & a Fully Evolved non-Legendary Pokémon. A Baby Pokémon would get every bonus)
Originally Legendary/Mythical: No Bonuses
Fully Evolved (But not Legendary): Can use any move from its list of Re-learnable moves
1st Stage: Can use *any* item
Basic Pokémon: Can give any Ability (Excluding Wonder Guard, Pure Power, & Huge Power)
Baby Pokémon: Can add 100 BST to it *or* can give it any 4 moves.
This would be even better if they could only keep them if they have at least one Psychic move as well
Video idea.
Chilln sings a musical number.
Quick: Is that a no?
Video idea. You each catch the same 6 pokemon and battle. You’ll each have different moves and abilities due to different randomized versions.
Vid Idea
Blast from the Past
-Random roll a previous episode of Vs Battle
-Whoever won that episode gets to pick a pokemon from that winning team. AND one pokemon from the loser’s team for them.
-get teams of 10, pick best 6
-Fight
This rewards previous wins and revisits past memories. Could be fun!
Challenge idea: Move Selection Challenge
You each take turns picking a pokemon move.
Maybe you try "surf."
Maybe 8-10 picks to account for any REALLY bad mons.
Letting the two first mon die off was crazy.
ONE MOVE CHALLENGE
You have as many skips as you like, so long as you decide before you throw the ball, but only get one turn’s worth of recon to decide.
Video idea: Road Trip Challenge. Spin a wheel of States and then find a fully evolved pokemon that's name begins with the name of the state.
At long last!
Quick could have done thunder cage but guess what noob gg
Thunder cage instead of thunder fang could’ve won you the match
Quickgg's play was so sad...
You guys should do a pokemon battle based off your best friend personality
Idea: Punk vs Posh! Just anything that fits the concept.
Idea: cats vs dogs, rabbits vs foxes, etc
Do a nuzlock style encounter table. Still be randomized and everything but one mon per zone and after 9 zones pick the best 6 and battle it out. No evos just what you get raw
Chillin is so dang picky. 😂
Pick teams by entering the well’s. 2 skips each.
Move relearner is allowed to get the low accuracy moves.
catch 6 pokemon of your choice, change one move on each and FIGHT
Pirates 🏴☠️ vs Marines ⚓️ One Piece themed challenge!
Challenge idea, Best of 3fights , 9 total sets of Randomised starters to build 3 teams of the 3 starters you must build 1 “All Star” Team , then from the remaining 2, 1 “High BST” team, 1 “Low BST” team from each set of started you have to take all 3 or non if you choose to skip
🎉
Challenge Idea: 12 rounds (6 each)
Each player is given 3 images of shiny pokemon, with 1 of the pokemon having the incorrect colour. If you guess right, you get to catch the first fully evolved pokemon you see. Guess incorrectly, you capture the first 1st stage pokemon you see
