Celine Dion had her own huge live shows in Las Vegas from 2003-2007 and 2011-2019, with over 1100 shows and over 4.5 million people (fans from all over the world) come watching. She's a true performer legend 🙌
I just wanted to say that I saw her live in Las Vegas and it was amazing! She sang one song after another without pause, and each song was as flawless live as her studio albums.
If you react to more of her songs, you will see that the majority of them all start out slow and build, like you were saying. That’s her strongest attribute in singing is her ability to build the swell and belt it out. You’re not alone in being excited. Her music is exciting for that reason. Her runs and riffs are the decorations, and her ability to convey emotion is like none I’ve ever seen or heard before. Also, yes, the chest thump is her signature. Great reaction!
Her entire “a new day” Vegas show is a staging masterpiece. The coliseum was purpose built for Celine’s show, It was a collaboration between Celine and one of Cirque Du Soleil’s producers Dragone (it shows in numbers like The Power Of Love with the fish people costumes) “River Deep Mountain High” is a powerhouse of stage presence.
Celine is the emotion of the song. She plays her voice to express her emotions. Please watch the recording (not the performance) of I Knew I Loved You and Celine Dion Aretha Franklin Tribute: A Change is Going to Come. Hitting her chest is her trademark as is tossing her skirt.
Thanks for the great review. I’ve always loved how much Celine puts her entire self into her performances. She’s such an expert on that stage and she has technique like no other. Awesome review!!
At 6:50 that’s just Celine and it’s not artificial it’s actually completely unique to her so I would caution you as you are new to Celine dramatics. Then at 8:53 you love it. Lol That’s Queen Celine, baby!
Her time spent performing at Caesar’s Palace was a collaboration with cirque du soleil in all her shows. I got to see her there the very end of November 2003. It was by far the greatest performance I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I’ve followed her music since around 1990. I have almost all of her albums. She is one of a kind. Also she is known for these movements you are describing. It’s CELINE!❤️
Actually, i like her gestures here. Some they just stand there doing just an angle exploding the “omg i’m so beautiful look at me. Look at this side this is my great side”. And the tight dresses. I mean how can she breathe 😂 Jokes
The other girl just stands in one corner of the stage, shaking her head and is concerned about how she looks on stage. She should try America’s next top model instead. Singing on stage is not her thing.
I understand what he saying but honestly my ears are highly trained but when it comes to singers because I can’t sing I don’t really judge too much with my brain I let my heart decide if it touch me in a motional way. I look for essence emotion and then technique and how on point it was far as pitch. That’s why I love floor so much. Hey my man Brandon give me a call tomorrow if you can I’ll probably be sleeping late but I definitely could use your help and I think you could use mine just much so but I know you got a lot going on with your house and stuff so just let me know I know you got bigger issues going on with your house so, I will be around I saw you came to discord to which is
"Ok stop it... Breathe ... you gotta breathe sometimes" Nah, no need for that, Celine probably has a second set of lungs just for belting purposes. Lol
I like you comment, so well done. Just to get you in what you watched: that was the first long serie of concert in Vagas, they built the theatre for her, the stage was incline of 7 degry (I think) so ppl from all seats in the theatre could see all the dancer, but that was so hard on their body, after each show they plonge their legs in bucket of ice and Celine had to see the therapist evry day. Yes it was ALLLL staged up by Franco Dragon, one of the guy who stage Cirque du Soleil. The camera follow Celine, but ppl in the place see all the stage at once, so they don't minde if she turn her back for few sec ;-) You're right most of her song that are the best known are more power house, but she is so versatil, she sing so deferently in french. And about ''punching'' her chest: she does that since many years, when she perfomed My heart will go on at the Oscar, she was wearing the ''heart of the ocean'', a bleu dimond nickles so big (worth million of $$$) , and in the middle of the song she punch it... so that part is truely natural. (and I'm not a real big fan, Celine is my name (older then her) but always followed her as from Quebec just like her)
You should check her interpretation of Queen's song "The Show Must Go On" live at the Billboard Music Award. Her performance is as amazing as this one.
I absolutely LOVE your reaction to Celine Dion!!! Would you please react to Celine Dion Surprise Surprise? It's just a recording, there's no video, just audio, but the song actually has a message, and she brings it across beautifully
I really liked this and the professional analysis... Since you're into the artistic aspects of performance, stage art, and vocal projection, from the same series of her Franco Dragon directed live shows, there's this piece called "Ammore Annascunnuto"... WOW! Astoundingly beautiful visuals, Immaculate vocals and such a wholesome experience even through the screen! And thinking that this was done in 2007... wow. Celine Dion - Ammore Annascunnuto | ua-cam.com/video/bzDzSMYBh78/v-deo.html This has never been done on UA-cam reactions and I think it would be perfect if someone like you would do it first it and critique it from different aspects. Celine really is a TITAN... Really liked this, thank you.
"A New Day Live in Vegas" changed Vegas forever. This show was a partnership with Cirque du Soleil. As you can see, the stage is massive and the production was over the top. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but her songs were interpreted specifically for this stage which was built especially for her. I understand some of your critiques, but many of her fans love her because of those dramatic choices. I've seen her twice in concert and she is a TRUE performer.
Celine Dion have followed my playlist for many years. Thank you for reacting to her... Please check out this amazing artist. She's had a hard time since her participation in the X Factor 2011, but she have grown into a marvellous, talented singer/songwriter. She dropped her album "Confessional" in 2020, and I would love it if you checked out her song "Honest Men". I'll link it below. Thank you. Great reaction and appreciation for this gem. Celine has sooooooo many amazing songs! Can you PLEASE react to Flying on my own (live from Las Vegas), Lying down (written by Sia), Fade away, Water from the moon and Alone. You won't be disappointed 👌
She is not Celine Dion if there is no drama, theatrics, the bigger the better.... as she herself proclaims in her "Ashes" music video (which you should also react to), she only goes up to 11, nothing less... hahaha
Lol “ just a heads up guys I might actually stop the song and react to it because that’s kind of what I do” I love when people are like you talked over the best part of the song!!! Oh my God OK you probably have heard that song 500 times you didn’t come and listen to the song you came to listen to someone’s perspective opinion or expertise. But with that being said you saying that!. Mad respect on on you being authentic in that reaction, you’re an absolute amazing job at expressing some thing that you had an opinion on that might not be very popular but you did a very gracefully I respect that because there’s so many reactors that are just blow smoke up your butt every time.
That’s is exactly right. It’s really important to me to be honest and, despite what some seem to think, it’s perfectly possible to be critical while being completely respectful and without disliking the song or the artist. … I got your message, by the way. Just call me whenever man, lol

Celine Dion it’s great... but fantastic, sublime, magnifique, the best in the world its Miss Súper LARA FABIAN!!!🙇🏻♀️❤️ Celine its more comercial but Lara its from Roger world more authentic... sorry but its true!!!
COME ON MAN!! Just checked ur vids, and you don't do ANY of the Vocal Trinity (Mariah, Whitney, Celine)...anyone involved with 'vocals' should at least kiss the rings of the Trinity, but alas, your channel has none:(. Please rectify!! And if you loved Celine, she's widely considered 3rd best of the Trinity, so get on that Mariah and Whitney train, if at the very least, to let us see your GENUINE first reaction of their epic performances!! I'll definitely go on that journey with ya!!
you're seriously criticizing one little move in her performance at the beginning of the song. Do you know she must have sung that song over 1,000 times on that stage every day for years on end. smh.
I don't deny that Celine Dion has talent, but personally, I don't like her way of being on stage. She is often "artificial" in her gestures and also very often makes the same gestures. Lara Fabian has been my favorite for a very long time and for me, no one "accosting" her in a show, in terms of stage presence and emotions. *By the way, I think I see, on your right, a Lara Fabian CD*...;-)
You do, :p. You should really consider checking out my discord. If you do, shoot me a private message and let me know. There is a strong core of Lara's Anges there and they're always excited to meet another member.
Dude, "Melodramatic"? Really? You clearly do not know her. There's nothing "forced" about Céline's gestures. It's her innate Céline-ness. With all due respect, it would bode well if you chose your words more kindly. 🙄
Sure, that might bode well…or it might bode well if you knew what the word melodrama means and could then recognize that it doesn’t in any way imply “forced” and there is nothing unkind about it. It wouldn’t be my first choice in a music performance but it’s perfectly valid.
@@tnae I understand very well that melodrama doesn't in any way mean "forced." But, I was simply quoting you when I used the word forced as you'd said that Céline's action was forced. I realize that you don't really know her well enough to know how she performs on stage regularly. But please do understand that Céline has been "mocked" for being super dramatic and stuff, and honestly critiquing her on what she feels at the moment and how she delivers something from someone who doesn't know her performances well enough does come across a tad impertinent. Especially considering this video is part of a show called A New Day... which was directed by Franco Dragone, who has choreographed it a certain way. The fact that Céline has to walk up "showing her back to the audience" for this ONE song doesn't matter because there's a whole concert. It just feels bad watching as a fan because it feels like you're being judgemental without really knowing how she is as an artist. I mean, I understand it's your job to judge on your channel. You can do whatever you please, sir. But it just seemed a tad disrespectful in the first half of your video until you "warmed up" to her.
Like you said, that’s kind of what I’m here to do. What would be the point of anyone ever offering perspective on any piece of art if they dealt it impertinent to challenge to critique the artist? I did my best and thought I did a decent job of remaining level headed and fair in my comments. I remember the moment you’re talking and I stand by what I said. But I’m pretty sure I made allowances for her expertise and that of those around her. My comments critiquing that moment were directed at those seeking success in that profession. I think I even mentioned this in the video but you have to know the rules before you can break them. As for the walk up the stairs, I don’t care if she were on stage for three hours and that was the only time her back faced the audience. It was poor blocking or possibly stage design. That’s just facts, not even an option. By all the laws and reasoning of stagecraft I’ve ever learned, thought, heard of or read about, that was a mistake. Again, as I said in the video, that has little to nothing to do with Celine. I would say whoever made those decisions did her wrong there. I appreciate your perspective. I just have to be honest and authentic in my reactions and commentary. Otherwise, what’s the point of me?
@@rathnakumar5592 I mean I’ll be honest and say I’m not a huge Celine Dion fan not for any particular reason I just haven’t listen to that much of her music I usually go for more emotional stuff. I think Brandon was super gritty at the end and was genuinely highly impressed. And only reason when sodas you guys have been pretty respectful but I’ve seen fans make reactors quit because they were that rude and disrespectful because the reactor didn’t like their artist they way they want. I feel like as a fan of an artist you want reactors react and keep the music going and keep it alive and keep the conversation of who were the greatest of the greats. Most reactors don’t usually wanna point out things that they may not enjoy because generally the Fanbase depending on who it is he mentioned Angelina Jordan and I do a lot of her reactions and she has a extremely passionate Fanbase so does Dimash. Are used to do really well with my Domach videos but when I try to have an open conversation with them majority of their fans that I experienced think that nobody even comes close to Dimash and it sucks because I don’t do nearly as many reactions on him now because the fans don’t want to hear an honest approach they only want to hear me praise every second of the performance. Same time I’m not huge on critiquing artists that are way more talented than I’ll ever be however I feel like he did it with class and I feel like his enthusiasm and joy you receive from that reaction far outweighs the three or four small little observations he made about you know what he would’ve done different or would he didn’t appreciate! This is been one of the first reactions I’ve actually watched all the way through in a long time Brandon you keep it up bro you got the magic sauce!!! Shout out to the families to because everyone’s been fairly respectful and whether they agree or disagree and see anybody attacking you! And I’ve seen it way too many times where fans get really ugly with people and they never believe make the reactor not react to that artist. It’s a good open dialog of observations at least from my perspective which by the way is very limited.
Falou tanta merda no início e depois ficou sem palavras. 🤡 É melhor apenas reagir depois de ver a performance e não no início tirando conclusões precipitadas. Só por isso achei o canal pouco credível.
I would agree with you however he praised her way more than he critiqued the small things as a fellow Reactor 90% of reactors bullshit and never have the guts to actually disagree with the Fanbase. Everybody on this post was very respectful including you we all definitely should be OK disagreeing. But when you do this for a while you realize people get a little fanatical sometimes in attack you for saying one wrong thing so I kind of agree with you but I’m proud of my man for sticking to his opinion regardless. And I’m probably coming from someone who doesn’t sing so I wouldn’t miss that it all sounds pretty amazing to me! But I’ve been crucified a few times for saying wrong things to certain fan bases.
@@Astroboy131 Of course he can and must have his opinion. But the critics about Céline's gestures and so on are quite annoying. Those gestures are her signature and she does them naturally. I just want to say that a better knowledge of the person would help even himself to react to Céline.
I’m sorry. You’re credentials are what? You are dressed like a homeless teenager and you’re going to criticize the queen? Would love to hear what makes you qualified to comment on this. Directing a high school production of Rent does not make you a “performance expert”

Too much criticised for my taste.
To much talking for my taste
Uh huh, lol.
