Growing up in the islands, kingfisher is quite popular, it's amazing to see these beautiful birds however...I remembered they were bigger than these ones 😀
Thank You Hans for this most beautiful presentation of one of my favorite birds rarely have I seen in eastern Texas. Proof that parenting has it's survival responsibilities. Wonder if the offspring must find also such a clay bank for a suitable nesting site.
The vid footage is stunning and brilliant without a question. But why is the sounds and calls of the kingfishers muted and dubbed with music. Can't there be both?
When observing birds, we see how sensitive nature is. And we are so harsh. Us humans. We are so harsh. When our insensitive aura just tries to come close to them, they fly away. Feed the birds. Feed them. The small birds are very threatened.
This could have been one of the best documentaries I've seen were it not for the background sound of the birds in the wild having been replaced with whatever crap music was chosen to replace it. I actually fell asleep 10 min in and just got up right now with 2 minutes left. Complete disappointment and waste of time. Damn shame cause it looked really good.

Feeding them??? Makes them soft...natural selection erases the soft.

@OP - please re-upload with a higher resolution, it looks very pixelated.

Oh ffs, now you're not even sure if it's the same 🐦
i wish there are sounds of nature rather than music overlapping
Not fish again for tea mam 😂😂😂
how does one speak of 1 birb for 44 minutes?
A biologist studying one species? Every species had nuanced behaviour, hunting techniques, Sexual selection etc etc etc

Give thanks to the music that made you go to sleep. That shows how peaceful the music was.
This isn't about the kingfisher bird, it's about the film maker and his really really strange obsession
What's strange about. It ?
