I have seen many in this series of documentaries but the best narrator is Dunkin Larkin, his excellent speech clarity in this spectacular amazing documentary.

I surely hope that Europe can continue it's great culture for millenia to come. The culture reflects the beauty of the nature surrounding it. I adore Europe!
Irene Austin true. It's not easy when I witness people r hurting mother nature in my country. Hoping we will soon aware the importance of protection environment.
You forgot the "Trinity Alps" in Northern California. In Northern California, The Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest contains an Alpine habitat, The Trinity Alps, and three wilderness areas that are all adjacent combining thousands of contiguous acres of wilderness type habitat including The Russian Wilderness, The Salmon Mountains and The Marble Mountain Wilderness.
God Bless you, Jeremey Hogarth, beautiful production. I am very fond of psitticenes, but wow, the beak on that Kia! I am vey happy that humans have chosen to give the Alpine residence in New Zealand back to its Kia. As long ago as 1970, when I was 19, I deplored human interference with the very nature of animals' habitat. It takes the threat of complete annihilation of all Earth, to get humans to WAKE UP.
Nature isn't simple rather it's more complicated and rewarding and healthy both physically and psychologically. Therefore, Nomadic mod of living is better than a civilized mod of living. This is scientifically proven.
Very interesting video, thank you. My sound is unfortunately off and no CC available, so if there was a comment when the sheep and those marauding birds came on, I did not hear if there was anyone helping the sheep? A few strings of wool I can understand, but that one poor animal had its back and rump full of sore spots where all the wool had been pulled out. Couldn't some wool be kept at harvest time and given to the birds? Or some other sort of nice solution? Thank you.
i love all animals. but my neighbors dog will not shut the fuck up! a couple of hours later and they will get tired and bored. no, lol, they do not. bark, bark, bark,... so i have to talk to them in dog language. bargh, they didn't hear me, loader, bargh! it went quiet.
this is going to sound corny, but I really don't care: It's so wonderful being able to sit here with my cup of tea (a lovely Pu Erh with a smooth, earthy flavor and texture) and be completely at peace watching beautiful scenes from nature from my laptop. I have no idea why everyone my age wants to party and get drunk all the time, because relaxing moments like these are the reason I stay sane. PS: really though, if you've never had a good cup of Pu Erh, do it NOW lol XD
here in ireland we just drink tasty good old regular "tae" , im with you tho sometimes i rather stay home relax and have a little toke of weed while siping tea and enjoying the lovely scenes!
I used to party for a while and I do have to say there's nothing that compare to staying home on a weekend and relaxing with tea and videos like these ~ x
Fascinating ! ...the profusion of life on this planet is mindbogling.... Noah most surely must've had a huge liferaft....just wonder how he managed to capture a pair of platypus.......
Platypus was called a mammal,, even though lays eggs. I thought a requirement of mammal is to give live birth? Enjoyed comparison of animals even mountain ranges 100s of millions of years apart.
William Gowland named the mountains of Honshu as "Japanese Alps" not the Japanese themselves. Hida , Kiso, Akaishi are the real name of the so called "Japanese Alps"
Yes, so much of humanity is disrespectful of each culture's names for land. I am from Los Angeles California, and few residents realize it belonged to Mexico. Look at all the Spanish names around my region ! I look forward to visiting Japan and hearing the native names of all your geography.
The originally name is Arabic means the heart of Europe قلب أوروبا and the Himalayan mountains means in Arabic highest mountains on earth names from Arabs بالعربي القمم العالية والأوروبيون لا يعرفون النطق كانو بربر يعيشون في البراري
There is no such thing as billions of years. This earth is just under 6000years old and God created it with the breath of God mouth. The video itself testifies of an intelligent Creator.
The irony is that there are Chamois in both in the European Alps and the New Zealand Alps, unfortunately they don`t appear on the New Zealand Alps in this documentary, but only in the European Alps.
Yeah I saw it too 00:31 is that a joke or some editor sleeping during the job? No Platipi in the Alpes.. NEW SEALAND is the only place where these critter dwell..
18:29 How on earth can anyone know when a Macac entered a hot spring for the very 1st time? Please stick to facts. Sadly 'documentaries' often now say things as being fact when it is not. The camera work is great though..
In Australia, the biggest force of destruction is the introduced species. Australia has such a unique ecosystem we Australians should make sure our future generations worldwide would enjoy it also.
Scenery is stunning but can't stand to hear blasphemy every minute by droning on about evolution. God created the heavens and the Earth and everything in it.
If they had left out the whole "Humans are bad," crap. I would agree these are good films. But, like everything touched by the left... it is ruined for me. I'm sick of the humans-can't-be-a-part-of-the-world mentality.
Fantastic views, mountains are sooooooo beautiful !!!

Who in the world has not eaten cereal in 12 years!? You must be really poor. Buy the big plastic bag brands they are cheap enough.

So, watching a backlit computer or television screen KEEPS you sane?? Sad state of affairs when you can actually experience nature in person.
i prefer to learn about this than to get lost in the drunk crowded place just to learn counting from 10 to 1 tonight

Enjoyed comparison of animals even mountain ranges 100s of millions of years apart.
As beautiful nature is it’s also brutal - it’s all about not being eaten alive every day of your life

Oh great, you know nature's secrets and you broadcast them to the world. That's not how secrets work.

Is that a platypus, or an otter wearing a mask?
Yeah I saw it too 00:31 is that a joke or some editor sleeping during the job? No Platipi in the Alpes.. NEW SEALAND is the only place where these critter dwell..
New Zealand was here today
No it wasn't, New Zealand is a country, it can't go anywhere.
You should try to improve thte video quality.

Maybe they studied it for a period of time? 🤔
I don't understand why these producers hire narrators that don't even have a grip on the pronunciation of their OWN language.
