What impresses me most about Slash's appearance here is that he just comes on and plays the standard line -- he doesn't try to drown out the kids or upstage, he just joins them. Dude's got class.
@@melsop54 - I remember them... pretty sure they were called 'Rifles and Dandelions". They had a weird sound... the lead singer sounded like he was singing through a kazoo.
I love the fact that Slash didn't distract the lead vocalist who was doing such an awesome job. When she realized that Slash was actually there, her look was utterly priceless.
As a die hard gnr fan, everything the kids were doing was right on point. The fact that SLASH showed up and jammed with em puts him on a whole different lvl of guitar god. He let them jam, followed cues and acted like one of the band members. Gave me goosebumps and put a smile on my face, something that has been missing for a long time. Well done by everyone.
Lead vocalist has some talent. The guitarist jammed right along beside Slash. Great band. I wish these kids all of the luck in the world, and God's blessings to achieve their dreams.
That kid is in the process of becoming a legend himself! His name is Taz Niederauer. Last May I saw him featured at a festival...completely holding his own playing with every major act on the bill. Check out the Doheny Blues Festival. A highlight was him burning with the Marcus King Band.

What class Slash showed! He was awesome and let those kids just rock out...sooo cool and boy will they have a story to tell! I loved it....just so moving. ❤❤❤
I don't think I've ever heard a single bad thing about Slash, seems like he may truly be the Keanu Reeves of rock and roll. Those kids are freaking adorable, warms my heart to see these cool kids play this classic rock song. Also makes me feel old to realize it's now a classic rock song lol.
What a class act Slash is, he took time out for these kids. Not many young people can say I played with Slash. This is the acts of kindness that will keep real live music going. Playing real musical instruments will never cease as long as we have real musicians.
This kind of stuff really touches my heart……imagine how much it must mean to those kids for a star to take the time to do this for them and imagine the inspiration it gives them to succeed and give back to something they love like music
@@sagvjc2525 you don't know Randy Rhodes then. Because he wasn't a child prodigy. He was just another kid who learned how to play guitar at a very young age. I think he said the song they were playing when it all went down was Civil War and Slash didn't leave until his solo was finished. Top notch guy with committment.

I dont know what's more awesome , Slash making a surprise appearance , or that these kids are jamming to a record released almost 30 years ago! In the 80s I was singing zeppelin, Sabbath or something and my dads friends said to me there will be a day I'd understand the significance. . Born day 1 of Woodstock, 50 years later it gives me hope rock and roll will survive 💪🤘🎸
This gave me chills - good chills. I could just imagine the excitement of the young people performing while Slash joins in. I was young once and also learning how to play an instrument.
I love how almost none of the kids reacted to Slash until the end of "Sweet Child O Mine." The only one fanboying was the lead guitarist and the singer was so focused doing her thing that she never even knew he was there.
I can't image how these kids felt when Slash came out on stage and played with them. What on honor and awesome inspiration to these future musicains. Keep rocking!!

He should have turned it up to 11.
exactly what I was thinking... respect!
I wanted a face melting solo😭
He is a true class act
He is a true musician who cares about the music rather than being the star.

He distracted the guy that was doing the hard job.
The singer is bad, even for a kid.
The guitarist knew right away, who he was. That must have been an awesome moment for him!
Thats Brandon Taz Niederauer. That kid is amazing.
How the hell he kept playing I have no idea. I'd have been over there giving him high fives and hitting the floor.
THAT IS TAZ damn saw him at a festival. He can shred! Plays a mean guitar. For his age, hes going to be an amazing asset in the industry.
I would probably faint if Slash came out playing guitar
Way to go kids!!! Amazing music and amazing composure. Thank you, Slash. You gave them some memories to last a lifetime.
Imagine playing in a kid's band competition and the competitors bring out Slash
Anshuman Gupta sounds like a bad news bears movie
It’s like kids playing in a soccer tournament and they bring out ronaldo
Immagine playing in a kid's band competition and the competitors resurrect Jimi Hendrix
😂😂😂
