I remember this as the only dance that couldnt be taught properly cause there is no stopping to it so we all just had to follow and learn it this way. :D I have googled it and came across a different version that is by far not as nice as this old version!! GREAT seeing it again! 🤩

First of all, this IS HOW IT IS DONE in CANADA! Also, anyone complaining about anything, make your own perfect video of how you do it perfectly then! Don't watch this one I you don't like it! This is exactly how it is done in Canada though and very easy to watch footwork. Good job!

was just trying to give my daughter a lesson in all styles of dance so she can see, we all have music and dance in our hearts though it may be different..... wish some of the haters of other forms of dance and music could have a lil tolerance........ you know when no one is watching you dance to rap!!!!! :)

That's the one! I've been looking for this as I used to teach it in Northern Virginia i the 90's, and forgot how to do it. Thanks!!

Thanks for this. Out of nowhere had vid suggestion of mourners dancing to this after a funeral as a tribute, which was a great video, but recent and it made me remember the song but the dance seemed different. My late motherboard country and I went line dancing with her some in the 90s. I've always been a hard rock & metal can but I loved some of those 90s country songs and this was a real favorite, as well as "Any Man of Mine" and others. So thank you for this as the moment you all began it came back to me since this is absolutely the way everyone danced to it when I was there. It was a bar in northeastern NJ, maybe Lyndhurst, and they had line dancing on certain days. I miss those times with my mom and the friendly regulars and people that were there every week. Ok, back to Megadeth; have a good one everybody...

Freaking kindle fire auto correct, I assume, decided that I went line dancing with computer equipment in tow, as it now reads "motherboard" where I typed " mother". Won't allow me the option to edit with this device, hence the reply. I can't wait to proofread the rest and see if I also had farm animals or something else equally disturbing in my possession back in the day.

There was a place in Lyndhurst, but it wasn’t solely Country. They ran Country once a week in the hotel bar. The big place for it was the Colorado Cafe in Plainfield. Gone now unfortunately.

This song is really a mixture of both. It was a country/country rock, and yes it was labeled rock when it first came out because I believe it was released on a rock styled album but it's also considered country because of the dance that goes with the song.

i wasn't trying to be rude and i'm sorry if i came off that way. its good that you guys can do it in sync like you do but i guess i'm just used to the way we do it. i kinda think of the way we do line dancing there like new age country line dancing. we put our own interesting spin on it and its apparently attracting a lot more people in my generation to country. if your ever in ct again message me here on youtube and let me know. we can go down to illusions and show you how we do it now

Mechanically perfect, well rehearsed, well done. How very very sad. someone should tell you that there is no joy. It like watching a bunch of New Jersey housewives show off their dance class. This is NOT the way the southern line dance is done. Our dance is fun, joyful,
entertaining, and an expression of our culture. This is,,,,,,,,,just sad.
