Impressive. I found the same pair on the donations rack at a homeless shelter. They are basically in perfect condition besides some creases and some scuffs.
My God that was shoe restoration done proper ! I smashed that like a d subscribe button ! Where I'm there is onely regular street cobblers, I can never hope to restore any of my snickers like that. So as u can imagine, my eyes were literally sweating as whike I was watching ur vid 😭
You resurrected these 12’s from the grave. Now, I’d like to see you “test drive” these sneakers, as I’m interested in knowing how the soles will hold up after you glued them back on again. Also, when the sneakers get dirty again, how do you re-clean them once you’ve painted them over once? Restoring the shoes is one thing, but are they able to stand the test when they get worn down again. Overall, very good initial restoration, it looks nice from the offset.
A correct application will keep them glued down for several years. Barge superstik is extremely strong. The shoe I glued in my reglue tutorial is still perfectly glued also. The sneakers are protected with a matte finisher, so it’s safe to clean them with soap and water if it gets dirty afterwards.
I always use the matte white. The only difference between the two is the shine it leaves. Regardless, you should use a matte protector, so they’ll both end up looking the same in the end.
Krylon matte finisher. Make sure you shake the can for like 2 minutes before each use. One light pass over the area should be good. If you over saturate the area with finisher it will be less durable in the long run.
Rit whitener and brightener works wonders on yellowed Jordan mesh, and laces. I find myself a lot of times having to use a magic eraser on leather tongues that get deep stains from laces over time. Even medium bristled brushes do not get it off for me.
@@SneakerStation No, I mean the shoes are in a condition so bad but the outer soles are still not worn out, still in brand new condition, I had the 12's before and I can guarantee you the outer soles are going out first, way before the rest of the shoe.
@@SneakerStation on the inside of those shoes there are three layers. From the inside out you have the polyester sock liner then a canvas like material and finally the leather outer. The canvas is molding and the sock liners are too. I take a lot of Jordan’s like those apart and every time I do boom mold. No hate thought you can hit me up if you need help or parts

Great job
Thank you!
Which acid are you using for cleaning the shoe before colouring it
Acetone/or rubbing alcohol for older shoes
Great video I have some Chinese new year I need to get restored I scratched the white part of the toe and it messed up the 3m
Zoom units still functional? Great restoration
Yep still wearable. Thank you!
Excellent
I have to touch my pair of royalty 12s, do you think i should use angelus matte white or just regular white?
I always use the matte white. The only difference between the two is the shine it leaves. Regardless, you should use a matte protector, so they’ll both end up looking the same in the end.
@@SneakerStation what kind of protector would you use?
Krylon matte finisher. Make sure you shake the can for like 2 minutes before each use. One light pass over the area should be good. If you over saturate the area with finisher it will be less durable in the long run.
Awesome 👍🏿🔥🔥🔥🏆🏆⭐⭐⭐⭐
Where can I buy Jordan shoe Soles only for restoration?
You have to get them from another shoe
@@SneakerStation Thank you so much 😊 I’ve been searching for such a long time… thank you
Where did you get your laces
I bought jordan 12 replacement laces on ebay for about $10.
how much you charge?!
I need my cherrys done
And if they are suede (nubuck) do I do the same or is it different?
Which pair?
@@SneakerStation some jordan rush pink
@kezzzadillokum9707 They can be cleaned the same way
@@SneakerStation okay, thank you very much and excellent work
where do you find these beaters?
Usually Ebay or from friends

Have you tried acetone?
@@SneakerStation Yeah acetone works too but I try not to use it unless I have too it's very damaging especially to midsoles.
That’s crazy
Good job but something bothers me, why are the outer soles looking brand new after restoration?! 😁
Thanks! Most likely the tire shine used to polish them. Goes down after a day or so.

😯😯👏👏👏 so nice
Aye my man what does CDP mean
Count down pack, released in 2008.
@@SneakerStation oh thanks.
@@SneakerStation also do you know how much it would be to fully restore a pair of 1996 12’s Og Taxi
Nice start but those shoes need to be deconstructed and repaired
I appreciate the input. How come?

Thank you for the insight! I would love to see some videos on the process, it sounds very cool.
Dem two different shoe laces
Bought a replacement pair
Buy for $37, sell for $100...spend 4 days working on them = $1.97 an hour, profit.
I purchase these types of shoes for tutorials. To your point, I don’t advocate for people to buy beaters unless they’re looking for practice.
@@SneakerStation Fair enough. :)
I’m sure people do restoration for the love of the shoe and experience not profit. At least that’s why I would do it
