I've been looking for anyone with knowledge of the mid-relief strikes... Ive taken mine to countless coin shops, asked multiples of coin dealers & only 1 has told me "he remembers hearing about a "mid-relief" strike but had never seen 1... He thoughr it was very odd that my peace dollar was struck using obvious sand blasted dyes (idk how u spell those, haaa) My grandpa was adamant about his peace dollar being a "mid relief"... The toning use to look like the 1st peace dollar discussed, before the cleaning... now it looks exactly like the peace dollar that was mentioned being in Texas and for sale... Is there a possibility that I could have inherited a "mid-relief" peace dollar??? Whom so ever has adequate knowledge of such a strike, i would very much appreciate any response... It's been 2 years for this vid, so .. if i don't get a response, atleast i have the guy speaking in this vid as proof...
