Your tutorials are so in depth and easy to follow! Wish I found you when I was a beginner! I also love that you double up the yarn, genius to get that chunky look!!
Doesnt holding the working yarn in your right hand slow down this project? "Looping" instead of carrying a uniform tension in your left hand and "yarn over" for each stitch?
@karenpace6533 WoolEase Thick & Quick in Carousel & she uses Bernat Blanket in a matching shade of pink. In the video, she is, also, holding WoolEase T&Q in Bubblegum. Size P-Q, or 15mm, hook.
Crochet uses a single hook while knitting uses two needles. Crochet makes a single stitch before moving on to the next stitch while knitting keeps multiple stitches open at a time. Looks like she is crocheting to me.
This is the first video I have ever seen of yours. Your scarf turned out really nice but I was really confused about the way you were crocheting I think I’m too old to change the way I do it but I enjoyed watching you
@@marietroutman4584 thank you so much for the support! The way I do it is a hybrid of knitting and crocheting in my opinion, but it’s so much easier on my wrists!
FOR THOSE ASKING ABOUT YARN TYPE/ COLOR: She's using WoolEase Thick & Quick in Carousel & a coordinating shade of pink in Bernat Blanket. In the video, she is, also, holding WoolEase T&Q in Bubblegum. Normally, I wouldn't find fault w/ someone trying to make $ but she, LITERALLY, answers another comment in a way that completes the ENTIRE pattern for those w/ crochet experience. (Not too mention the video explains the stitches.) Why do THAT but not tell yarn brand/ color?! &, lastly, that is FRINGE she is adding to the ends, NOT, tassels. For $10, at least offer the right vocabulary. SMH😢
@@jessicadawn5290 I would use a 15mm-16mm- size P/Q. (Because, remember, you're crocheting w/ 2 strands of yarn) But anything between an 11.75mm or 12mm hook, up to a 17mm works- just depends on you! ♥️
you crochet like me i've start in november 2023 and since i'm used to knitting that way was easyer ans also i'm a lefty and everybody who saw me crocheting like this are like you arent suppose to do it like that 😶 but the result is the same
I think you can make it as long as you like it’s single crochet stitch super easy. I was also wondering about how many but $10 for the pattern is a little to pricey I’ve paid that amount for other patterns that are advanced level for amigurumis but not scarfs.
I no compréndé why you're using right hand to yo the hook for stitch! Guess I'm missing something! Can anyone EXPLAIN crocheting this way? Am in the dark! 🤷♀️ Thank You! ✌️🤘
I quess you hear this all the time..."You look like Cameron Diaz"... And even your personality is like hers...you could be a stand in for her on set.......do you live in California?

Never seen someone crochet like that. Color is pretty.
This was the easiest tutorial I’ve ever seen , thank you , def gonna make one for my sister since she loves pastel colors (-:
thank you!!!
What an interesting way of holding the working yarn!! I really enjoyed the tutorial 🩷🩷🩷
I loved the colors. It was so sweet to hear your baby speaking. May God bless her.
Oh my goodness - the way you weaved the tails of the yarn in when you ran out of yarn!!! I love it. Can’t wait to make this today! It is so pretty! ❤
The first time I see this stitch. Liked it. Sure I will try it. Thank you 😊
I’ve seen people hold their hooks weird but you must have started as a knitter!! lol it’s super cute I’ve never seen anyone crochet like this! 🤩
I LOVE that yarn!! Where did you get it?
It's that time of year. Making my 2nd scarf using this pattern. I absolutely love it!
I bought the pattern and was happy to do it !!

Oh my goodness I Ly u ❤❤❤❤ Ty so much I have searched for tutorials and failed and right now it’s my first project mwahhh❤❤❤❤❤
Really beautiful!!!
Very pretty. What yarn did you use and what hook size?

Wool ease thick and quick in bubblegum, bernat forever fleece in rose hip and a 12mm hook
How do you keep the yarn from getting tangled
Your work is amazing. I have never seen anyone crochet like that though! Is there a reason you crochet that way?
I find it so annoying, it’s how you knit. She doesn’t appear to knit though so I’ve no idea why she does this, Its way more time consuming

By any chance do you know the hook size?

Looks like a tassel to me, kind of like what’s on a graduation hat, when you move the tassel over.

You didn't mention the yarn weight or the hook size?
Love your videos and post
Thank you so much!!!
This is the first video I have seen of your's. I subscribed. Thank you for a beginner friendly video. 😊❤

Did I miss something? What size hook are you using? And, is your foundation chain the length of the scarf?
You didn’t miss anything! This video is to be used in addition to her pattern, which is available for purchase in the link in the bio of this video.
How long did it take you to make it?
How many stitches did u make Miranda in this video and which crochet needle number did u use?
You have to go to her website
I can't find it anywhere..pls just tell me the number
@@celsadesouza166 my website is www.craftymamamir.com !
@@celsadesouza166I couldn't either. All I found was a pattern to purchase for $10.00. Umm nope

I’m going to change and cut my grass. How about I save the video for later? It’s as cool as it’s going to get today.
Oh oops caught that “ comment” happy to pay for your pattern
ps new sub and excited ❤
What's the mm of the hook?
Millimetre
But I mean how much is it? 6mm 8mm
Pretty
Thank you!!!

Helpppp!!
Why anything i crochet curl can you tell me how to fix it 😢
I think maybe your tension is too tight when doing foundation chain. Try going up a hook size when starting foundation chain
@keithhawkins8237 you mean if I work with size 4 I do the foundation chain with 5 ?
❤❤❤❤
To dark can't see what is going on

It looks like knitting style to me.
She just crochet’s weird

Favorite scarf huh? I wasn’t thinking about knitting or crocheting. I was thinking about cutting my grass.
Your way of crocheting would not be easy for a beginner..will keep looking for scarf pattern

You’re so sweet and only this year have I heard this comparison!!!
I think you can do it as long as you want without paying for her pattern…. What do you think, ladies?
OH FOR SURE! But if you want to support a small business / single mama, your $10 is much appreciated 😌
Why would you say this? She’s out here taking her time to make these videos to help others, why not support her too?
This is the rudest, shittiest comment I've seen today. Congrats on that, I guess.

What hook size??
