I heard the possibility of Rey being the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker and Ben Solo being the reincarnation of Padme Amidala. I doubt that this is true but would be a very interesting twist to this possibility of a Reylo thing happening by the end of the movie. That would be cool if them coming together in this new lifetime change everything that Palpatine did to themselves in their past lifetime and destroy Palpatine's nazi style empire, kill Palpatine and help bring back democracy to the galaxy and bring back a new jedi order which Palpatine destroyed with his order 66 in the prequels. In this new lifetime they undo everything that Palpatine did in the prequels.

Guys, guys, guys! Remember what Maz told Rey? Something like: "The people you are waiting for... They are never coming back... But there is someone who still could." Rey implies it's Luke but Maz doesn't say it is true because I think she thinks that Rey must discover the truth alone. Also in this scene if you listen closely (there is somewhere video confirming this) you can hear very quiet voice that says: "It's Ben" And there we have the mirror scene. At the begining we can see two shodow-people (Rey's parents) who then are turning into one man (I guess it is Ben) and then face of Rey appears. Now remember, Maz said that this special "someone" could get back with Rey's help. That is why Rey appears at the end of the vision. She would have to choose to bring Ben back or leave him in embrace of the Darkside. It is up to her. And as the movie goes on she decided she will save Ben but as Luke warned her: "It is not going to go the way you think" (read: It won't be easy but according to Luke's words that no one is ever really gone it is possible). My first viewing of the Last Jedi my thought was that is Kylo Ren walking towards her . The Actor Adam Driver has a limp to the side due to a injury while in the service, you can see the same limp for a brief moment. If you have a copy of the movie see for yourself.
I was looking to see if anyone on UA-cam thought the same. And yes IT IS Kylo Ren, not just because of the silouete but because of the very distinctive walk. I could recognize his walk from a mile away. Very mysterious and awesome moment in the film! ♥️
Where they are going with this is the dark is not entirely dark, as the light is not entirely light. They have both of each in them. All it was doing was showing her what she needed. As it showed Luke his having to confront his history with Vader.

I think Reylo is indefinably going to happen. I mean JJ Abrams said that the finger touching scene was as close to a sex scene as Star Wars will ever get. If JJ Abrams said that then obviously they cant be related. That would just be incest. I love the theory that Rey sees Kylo in the mirror. I totally believe that. I don't believe it was snoke or luke or whoever else. I think if the finger scene was the closest thing we'd get to a sex scene in star wars, something sexual or something has to be going on between the characters. I hope we will get a kiss scene or more Reylo scenes in the next movie.
Yes, please!! They need to continue their love story. It's been building up of them running in each other's arms and passionately kiss. It almost happened when Ben just stood there throwing down a weapon and Rey stood there in big admiration over him and longing to hug him, but instead shook herself out of it and wanted him to stop firing at the Resistance ships. I love how he wanted to start a new life with her and how vulnerable he was in that moment, but he was holding onto the darkness still. If all this is true that they are the ones to bring balance to the force and the galaxy when they are finally together and Ben is discovering more and more of the truth behind his story and his place with the force, than we all know he's destined to be with her. Rian Johnson posted a red thread in his posts before the movie came out, which means lovers that are destined to be together. Snoke was keeping them apart and bridging their minds for that reason. The mirror scene was Ben's thoughts telling her to come to him for answers, yet he doesn't know all answers as his visions were distorted by Snoke. They both are left confused and Ben having to cover up murdering Snoke, so he doesn't get killed. The last call to Rey was Ben holding up Han's dice and actually grieving over him and looking sad, but looked up that he had hope to be with her. The look he made tells all and she's left disappointed in him. He's scared and stuck with the 1st Order still.
Just to the left of the person who touches the reflection from the other side “Rey’s mother”, you can clearly see a the outline male Jedi in Robes that look a LOT like what Luke was wearing at the end of Episode 7.
If I'm too far out with this comment- just ignore it - but what if Rey was created from Ben's actual body, the way Eve was created from Adam's rib (Genesis, The Bible). This way she is truly 1/2 of him or the exact balance of him or the yin to yang, etc. He won't be complete until they come together, and same for her/ or / one cannot survive if the other dies. Just rambling thoughts.. but there are Garden of Eden references within the reylo theorizing community.
I saw this too at the cinema. Now that I have the DVD the two figures prior to them merging are also Kylo/Ben. The figure on the left I am adamant is Kylo, at 01:15:46 you can clearly see the long robes, the shape of his helmet, gait and even how he angles his arms and hands. I won't go into the symbology of the left and right side but I definitely think this is foreshadowing Ben bringing balance to the force and the whole grey Jedi, especially with the temple on Ach-to showing a balanced black/white Jedi figure.

I think the two shadows were Ben's parents, han and Leia walking to her and they came together and became Kylo Ren, that became Ben Solo. Luke says it offers something she needed. Parents like Han and Leia turning into Ben Solo.

It’s a nice thought, but I really feel like it’s Snoke. The way the figure walks towards Rey is very similar to how Snoke walked, alongside both their slender figures and large heads. Also, if Snoke had anything to do with her origins, it could reopen the plagues theory and add credibility to reylo as well (with kylo hiding this secret to save Rey’s sanity)
If you look at the vision from the very start. The 2 figures walking up to her one is tall one is short. It’s Han and leia. The mirror is showing Rey her family. At the end she sees just her reflection is because it’s telling her even though they are your family no one can take care of YOU like YOU can. She’s been alone she doesn’t need her family to walk the path of a balanced Jedi.
Well it's pretty interesting. If you remember in the Empire Strikes Back Luke enters the cave confronts Vader and decapitates him. When the masks rolls it reveals Luke's face. Later on in movie when Luke confronts Vader it's revealed by Vader himself that he was his father. This was the shocking reveal that confirmed by Yoda in Return of the Jedi. In the Empire Strikes Back there was another reveal when Yoda there was another last hope. It would later be revealed the Leia was the twin sister in return of the Jedi.. Applying this theory and if this is Kylo Ren in the Cave scene then it would anticipate that Kylo Ren knew who Rey's parents were. It both cases we thought the villan was lying. Of course Vader was telling the truth. In the case of Kylo Ren it's up for debate. I have a feeling there will a great reveal for Episode 9. I have 2 lines of thought if the no body theory hold up then it would be up JJ Abrams to fill in the blanks. The second line of thought is the sibling theory. It has mostly been dismissed at this point. But if it turns out that they are siblings it would knock the Reylo theory out of existence. That would be a surprise. Perhaps Kylo Ren didn't know the whole truth. One last thought though is that the image Rey saw was Finn but that would be stretching it. He was taken from his family . But all this are just theories until Episode 9 debunks or confirms.
JJ already confirmed that Rey’s parents were not in TFA and he is making episode 9. So he had no intention of making them brother and sister then I doubt he does now. She also was told to keep her British accent for the role. Han and Leia do not have an accent.
JJ could seriously do anything with this. He can change Rey's parentage and also how luke vanished as well maybe he is alive ( not likely) hopes won't get up for that.
I'm a portrait artist and so work a lot with faces, shapes, and silhouettes! I'll just mention that between the first and second movies Kylo underwent a slight devolumizing in the hair department;P The bulk of the volume now sits lower on his neck, and this new outline actually aligns with the shadow in the mirror even better than his previous appearance did.

I still haven't given up on the feeling that Kylo lied to Rey about her parents, but I still have hopes for #ReyLo so part of me hopes she isn't related. This leaves a lot to mull over for a while. If it is Kylo Ren, it means that the cave didn't answer her question. It showed her what she needed but not what she wanted. Much like what the Darkside normally does.
I’ve always thought that the couple walking toward Rey were Anakin and Padme. We hear her call out to Rey twice. My kids were like, mom, that’s Padme’s voice. It gave me chill bumps. Padme disappears and then one lone figure remains. So, I thought it was Ben, too, but what if it’s Anakin? What if Anakin made sure that Padme would be reborn and it has something to do with the Japor Snippet? Ben and Anakin have very similar hairstyles. Or it means that Rey is Anakin, the Chosen One, reborn and Padme is trying to communicate. Either way, it’s truly cool. So, I just finished watching the entire video. I see it and I get it. Here’s another theory that my kids and I have contemplated. The vision that Rey has of the Knights of Ren in the rain has stumped all of us. However, if you watch “Kylo” advance on Rey from behind, the figure is that of a woman. It’s definitely not Adam Driver as Kylo. Adam is big and with broad shoulders. Now, it could be when Ben was much younger, but I doubt it. Either the former leader of the KoR was Rey or Rey’s mother and Ben is the person being encroached upon. This is where we witness his raw, untamed, power mentioned by Snoke. What if he killed Rey’s parent(s) in defense? I swear the person being stabbed in the back is Luke. This would explain his stabbing of the fish on Ahch-To and the angry glare when Rey screams, “Careful!” Luke doesn’t do anything by mere happenstance and he’s trying to jog something in her memory.
I knew at first sight this was Kylo, I mean look at is hair. I think it's just so frustrating that people don't GET the obvious.... same with the Reylo thing. Yes, maybe it is an one-sided love interest, but still, if in real life a girl sees a half-naked guy and goes so far as to hold hands with him and THEN gets told she means something to him - EVERYONE would get that there is love at work.
I did not know that. But it kind of makes sense or could make sense. When I saw the clip in the movie I saw two people that became one before Rey (mirror) is shown. It could be Kylo/Ben before, because they are two separate entities really. Kylo is dark force and said to have destroyed Ben. And they both become one. I agree the figure is Kylo no doubt. I did the same thing and came up with my own analysis of it. However I think the second picture is more at an angle as there are some parts of possibly skin showing or it could be a reflection. It kinda looks like a close up of Kylo kneeling in the throne room.
If you look at the right part of the neck and then you follow the outline of the body it looks like Vader's head and him looking out in the space from his star Destroyer

The last call to Rey was Ben holding up Han's dice and actually grieving over him and looking sad, but looked up that he had hope to be with her. The look he made tells all and she's left disappointed in him. He's scared and stuck with the 1st Order still.

Just to the left of the person who touches the reflection from the other side “Rey’s mother”, you can clearly see a the outline male Jedi in Robes that look a LOT like what Luke was wearing at the end of Episode 7.
That person is so tall. Seemed to be taller than average height Luke.

You need to get the Art of Star Wars, The Last Jedi and you will see an illustrated mash up of Rey and Kylo mask set for the Mirrorcave.

If I'm too far out with this comment- just ignore it - but what if Rey was created from Ben's actual body, the way Eve was created from Adam's rib (Genesis, The Bible). This way she is truly 1/2 of him or the exact balance of him or the yin to yang, etc. He won't be complete until they come together, and same for her/ or / one cannot survive if the other dies. Just rambling thoughts.. but there are Garden of Eden references within the reylo theorizing community.
I saw this too at the cinema. Now that I have the DVD the two figures prior to them merging are also Kylo/Ben. The figure on the left I am adamant is Kylo, at 01:15:46 you can clearly see the long robes, the shape of his helmet, gait and even how he angles his arms and hands. I won't go into the symbology of the left and right side but I definitely think this is foreshadowing Ben bringing balance to the force and the whole grey Jedi, especially with the temple on Ach-to showing a balanced black/white Jedi figure.

I think the two shadows were Ben's parents, han and Leia walking to her and they came together and became Kylo Ren, that became Ben Solo.

It’s a nice thought, but I really feel like it’s Snoke. The way the figure walks towards Rey is very similar to how Snoke walked, alongside both their slender figures and large heads. Also, if Snoke had anything to do with her origins, it could reopen the plagues theory and add credibility to reylo as well (with kylo hiding this secret to save Rey’s sanity)
If you look at the vision from the very start. The 2 figures walking up to her one is tall one is short. It’s Han and leia. The mirror is showing Rey her family. At the end she sees just her reflection is because it’s telling her even though they are your family no one can take care of YOU like YOU can. She’s been alone she doesn’t need her family to walk the path of a balanced Jedi.
Well it's pretty interesting. If you remember in the Empire Strikes Back Luke enters the cave confronts Vader and decapitates him. When the masks rolls it reveals Luke's face. Later on in movie when Luke confronts Vader it's revealed by Vader himself that he was his father. This was the shocking reveal that confirmed by Yoda in Return of the Jedi. In the Empire Strikes Back there was another reveal when Yoda there was another last hope. It would later be revealed the Leia was the twin sister in return of the Jedi.. Applying this theory and if this is Kylo Ren in the Cave scene then it would anticipate that Kylo Ren knew who Rey's parents were. It both cases we thought the villan was lying. Of course Vader was telling the truth. In the case of Kylo Ren it's up for debate. I have a feeling there will a great reveal for Episode 9. I have 2 lines of thought if the no body theory hold up then it would be up JJ Abrams to fill in the blanks. The second line of thought is the sibling theory. It has mostly been dismissed at this point. But if it turns out that they are siblings it would knock the Reylo theory out of existence. That would be a surprise. Perhaps Kylo Ren didn't know the whole truth. One last thought though is that the image Rey saw was Finn but that would be stretching it. He was taken from his family . But all this are just theories until Episode 9 debunks or confirms.
JJ already confirmed that Rey’s parents were not in TFA and he is making episode 9. So he had no intention of making them brother and sister then I doubt he does now. She also was told to keep her British accent for the role. Han and Leia do not have an accent.

I'm a portrait artist and so work a lot with faces, shapes, and silhouettes! I'll just mention that between the first and second movies Kylo underwent a slight devolumizing in the hair department;P The bulk of the volume now sits lower on his neck, and this new outline actually aligns with the shadow in the mirror even better than his previous appearance did.

I still haven't given up on the feeling that Kylo lied to Rey about her parents, but I still have hopes for #ReyLo so part of me hopes she isn't related. This leaves a lot to mull over for a while. Thanks for doing this, words can't describe how much I love this.

If it is Kylo Ren, it means that the cave didn't answer her question. It showed her what she needed but not what she wanted. Much like what the Darkside normally does.

I’ve always thought that the couple walking toward Rey were Anakin and Padme. We hear her call out to Rey twice. My kids were like, mom, that’s Padme’s voice. It gave me chill bumps. Padme disappears and then one lone figure remains. So, I thought it was Ben, too, but what if it’s Anakin? What if Anakin made sure that Padme would be reborn and it has something to do with the Japor Snippet? Ben and Anakin have very similar hairstyles. Or it means that Rey is Anakin, the Chosen One, reborn and Padme is trying to communicate. Either way, it’s truly cool.
So, I just finished watching the entire video. I see it and I get it. Here’s another theory that my kids and I have contemplated. The vision that Rey has of the Knights of Ren in the rain has stumped all of us. However, if you watch “Kylo” advance on Rey from behind, the figure is that of a woman. It’s definitely not Adam Driver as Kylo. Adam is big and with broad shoulders. Now, it could be when Ben was much younger, but I doubt it. Either the former leader of the KoR was Rey or Rey’s mother and Ben is the person being encroached upon. This is where we witness his raw, untamed, power mentioned by Snoke. What if he killed Rey’s parent(s) in defense? I swear the person being stabbed in the back is Luke. This would explain his stabbing of the fish on Ahch-To and the angry glare when Rey screams, “Careful!” Luke doesn’t do anything by mere happenstance and he’s trying to jog something in her memory.

I knew at first sight this was Kylo, I mean look at is hair. I think it's just so frustrating that people don't GET the obvious.... same with the Reylo thing. Yes, maybe it is an one-sided love interest, but still, if in real life a girl sees a half-naked guy and goes so far as to hold hands with him and THEN gets told she means something to him - EVERYONE would get that there is love at work.
I did not know that. But it kind of makes sense or could make sense. When I saw the clip in the movie I saw two people that became one before Rey (mirror) is shown. It could be Kylo/Ben before, because they are two separate entities really. Kylo is dark force and said to have destroyed Ben. And they both become one. It would plausible with the fact of the Force Diad

I agree the figure is Kylo no doubt. I did the same thing and came up with my own analysis of it. However I think the second picture is more at an angle as there are some parts of possibly skin showing or it could be a reflection. It kinda looks like a close up of Kylo kneeling in the throne room.

If we believe the LFL story group's philosophy then the cave like Degobah, Lothal, the Force back vision in TFA, is a representation of the Force. I think shes Luke and Leia because the silhouettes looks like them

for me it first looked like two people then when it merged into one it looked like Kylo and then as it got the nearest the outline looked like Rey's hairstyle and that's when she touched it and then did see herself. But I do think Kylo/Ben was there too

I didnt see Ben in that vision at all. I believe Snoke manipulated both Ben and Rey's visions in the hopes that if Rey believed she was a no one she would be easily convinced that she didnt have a place with the Jedi. Kylo believed what he was saying but what Kylo saw was a lie.
