- In 1991 The Cool-Notes joined the PWL Empire owned by Pete Waterman also known as 'The Hit Factory' which included the very successful Production team 'Stock, Aitken & Waterman. The Band spent just over two years with the label and recorded many great tracks whilst at PWL. This was a huge hit at the peak of the club and house party scene in South Africa 1991 - 1995. We will never get the feel and the magic of those years again...
In Kenya too. We got to hear most of the hits in _Matatus_ (PSVs), and you later hit the club to get the real party ambience.
2024, and still a hit in some “older” clubs in Cape Town ❤

A Wave of British acid jazz from late 80's and 90's(cool notes,incognito, lisa Stansfield, soul to soul, Kenny Thomas etc) top tunes. There is a two step acid jazz dance for this.

''Tell Me'' was also produced Phil Harding in 1991 for them, along with 5 other tracks he mixed that have as yet still not been released. It would be great to finally hear all of them.
Saw must have been nuts to have the band slip through the nets and fall through the cracks they were a bit late to jumper on this bandwagon the producers popularly was on the wane when they joined force s.

There isn't version of Tell Me on youtube??? I know it wouldn't have a video, but a great 12"...and I'm amazed no-one has uploaded it...quite rare now aswell I should think. I do have a copy, but on a release like that, I think it's better to seek the writers permission to upload first, be rude not to really...superb, top rank U.K outfit, a quality act from day1.
