- For their twenty seventh studio length album overall, The Melvins have stated they approached this album in a completely different way than ever before. But did this approach pave out, or do we have a sludge and doom outing that simply does not pan out the way they wanted?

For "wierd" I'd nominate STAG.
They are all very good, for the most part. I am partial to LYSOL, BULLHEAD and OZMA. The earlier stuff just has a special place...but the later records, SENILE ANIMAL, Bulls& THE BEE'S, were real excellent as well.
They are a brave band.
They do whatever they want and I love them for it.
