I've been asked for so many bands overtime and topics, as well as what bands/artists I have or have not covered, I figured I would compile ALL the current parts of this series into one mega-video, also with the rock edition, emo edition and metal genre edition all into one! I'd love to tackle all of these bands over again throughout time; and as always, let me know down below your favorites. Remember, this is all in good fun and I adore these bands! It's all for humor and don't take it personally as I diss my own favorites in this!!!!!!! So grab some popcorn, a drink, kick back and know that no one is safe from the all-out metal roast session of the year!!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The ghost one genuinly pissed me off for like 4 seconds, then I laughed my ass off
Omg, I can't believe you forgot about that band
THATS WHY I MADE THIS LMFAO
Aaskereia
See I tell people NIN is my favorite band and sometimes they’ll ask for a song recommendation, and I have no idea what to tell them to not make me look weird.
The nin fan experience
Hearing A7X: okay that hurt
Hearing Linkin Park: yeah..that's really true 🥲
Yeah...
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen 😂
Everything from Finland is the best. Honestly. I have so many Finnish metal CDs. Thanks and sorry for so many comments
Saved myself as well as several others a lot of trouble. Would really like to see more compilation videos like this
Im almost 30 and ive never heard half of these bands. I feel old.
Nice to see Vektor being mentioned multiple times, my DNA is probably 50% Terminal Redux. I'd love to see Haken get mentioned and if you do more rock bands: King Crimson and Frank Zappa.
Thanks for mentioning Metal Church, they have been sorely underrated forever. R.I.P to Mike Howe 1965-2021
I was so hoping for a roast to some of my favorite bands but none of them were in here... that hurts man! 😭🤣🤣
I never watch UA-cam videos this long. But I love this shit.
The last two Architects Albums were sick. They were different but I love them. Okay really triggered me well done.
As a Knocked Loose fan, I have seen people get drop kicked at their shows. Fortunately, I have been spared so far.
so true about The Black Dahlia Murder probably has the most chill fan base ever
The lamb of god take hurt me tremendously
Everything about most bands/ subgenres I know is on point haha
Thank god there are no fans of my real lesser known faves on this channel, and metal tempest wants to repeat himself four times on lorna shore and other shit
I only knew Daughters because of Oxbow and Hydra Head Records. Aaron Turner is one of the most underrated people in all of art
TBDM ahahah correct call!
My favorite Metal band is Waltari from Finland, admittedly they're not for everybody but they're done many crossovers of genres
Nice machine head comment, it’s so fucking true
Just talked myself out of buying a TOOL shirt. Im a casual TOOL listener and the thought of running into a hardcore fan turned me off haha xD
Am I blind, or there was no Protest the hero, Nor Brothers of metal, nor Gloryhammer.... WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BANDS 😭😭
But at least it was a fun ride watching all that and I guess there's material for more videos like that in the future 😅
Pretentious is the best word for sentence that includes Dream Theater. And I agree about Portnoy not being the best drummer ever, that title belongs to Mike Mangini. (I love DT BTW).
Love them too!
Isis (named after the Egyptian goddess of magic and wisdom). What do you think about their music? They were my favorite for about a decade before life got even worse and I started binging Finnish melodeath for the past 4 years or so
But how can you not like Iron Maiden?
Haha I love them! I love the vast majority of these it's all in good fun
Please please please do Xanthochroid!!
The Rotting Christ roast hurt me 😔
While I might be a scene kid that never grew up. They're just my favorite genre. BMTH could release a bluegrass album and I would check it out.
Wow I didn't realize this is satire. Whoops
Haha all in good fun!
Boris is the best Japanese metal band. Check out Heavy Rocks 2002 and Akuma No Uta. They really embody the spirit of rock n roll. That Heavy Rocks 2002 album has been the source of a lot of drug induced joy, car racing, and other life risking adventures. Especially tracks 2 4 and 7. Also Wata is really gorgeous
Portal FTW! 🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah!
I F*CKING LOVE LISTENING TO COSMIC HORRORS BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION
39:40 haha i feel ya there, I watched always behemoth lyrics as very inspirational and all but in the end it's again satanic empowering philosophy xD
Well I like Ronnie's " full Tom McDonald" thing
I honestly prefer Job for a Cowboy's later stuff to the Doom ep, especially the prog stuff
I saw Sunn O))) on acid and it just felt like being enveloped within a massage chair lol.
Personally I love most of these bands but suicide silence was the best thing that ever happened me thanks Mitch may u rest in peace
Couldn't spot Ignea here Smh:ing my head this is so sad 😔
Children of Bodom isn't boring if you're a musician. Kalmah is better though. Alexi saved my life
Kalmah are so good. Super underrated imo. Their last album was one of my favorites of 2023.
@@doomguyrox1156Kalmah speaks to the lifetimes of torment in my soul. Especially the first two albums. Crazy the first two can be purchased for 11.99
@@brandonharris9160 dang really? I’m in Metal Trenches discord and someone in there told me some of the older records were expensive to get and on Amazon they’re pretty pricey.
based and finpilled
You gotta hand it to Tool fans for trying to make the rest of the world intellectual and spiritual. It's just too bad they don't understand that the rest of the world doesn't resonate with music as deeply as they do most of the time. There needs to be another cultural phenomenon like a video game that promotes intellectual thought and spirituality like Tool does. Also Cynic and Isis the band (named after the Egyptian goddess of magic and wisdom) have made more profound statements than Tool with much more defined and epic instrumentals. In Flames gets pretty philosophical at times, which is probably why they are one of the biggest. Song examples:
Cynic - Veil of Maya and Circle
Isis - Ghost Key and Garden of Light
In Flames - Embody the Invisible
Its unfair to call COB boring and not mention Alexander Kuoppala, Roope Latvala (whom Metallica stole Enter Sandman from via the song Get Stoned by Stone from 1988) and Janne Wirman with his colorful keyboard solos. Have you even listened to Hate Crew Deathroll? That album has some real musical acrobatics. The solos are insane, it sounds like video game music that could easily fit in the best Sonic game. Really missing out if you haven't
14:35 if i was you i would say "you try to convice elitists that your favorite band is "real death metal" while they won't stop calling them deathcore"
Exodus belongs in big 4 more than Anthrax. They should have TWO big fours for the west and east coast.
No eyehategod?
About AC/DC - you are wrong. Period.
You're kinda... Nvmnd.
Respectfully, i disagree sir 😉
