Luv the video Riley. I'm part of the evolved traders group. I'm still just looking at the MES, MNQ and CL. Expanding what I look at has been a process for me since I found it takes me a while of watching a chart to see how it tends to move. I know for sure I'm not ready to look at the Euro/Dollar market. I've really liking oil lately.

Thanks for these videos, i have only just discovered your channel this week & dropped a subscribe right away! I have watched many videos over the last few months of other traders telling me 'what i should do' but despite the video being titled 'The only strategy YOU need' you only explain simply what you would do in a trade. I decided after watching your videos to have another go at trading using a trial account & testing what i have learnt here. I am currently 8.5% in profit, not massive but i was confident in my strategy & got it right, which in my opinion is a much more satisfying result than making a large profit by luck. How do you choose your market? do you trade the same ones but wait for the right entry points or do you view several until you find one you like the look of?

Hey those are some solid trades! Good job man. I rocked the markets too on Friday. Log to hod them short to middle when i left to work. Then it did measured move down again. I really only use levels and moving averages anymore. Indicators are just there to make sure I’m right after I’m in a trade. Make sense since indicators are all delayed. $tick helps me tons on nq for getting out or staying in trade just after I get in. If that thing is generally below 0 line I’m out. Tick internals react before candles do therefore I see ticks tank or show different trend and candle doesn’t show it yet I’ll get out or hold with confidence knowing the short term future.
What do you mean by tick internals? Is that a futures thing? I only trade stocks. For now.
Riley (my trading buddies refer to you as RC 😄) I think you do a fantastic job at making trading simple. We use your broken trendline idea all day long. 2 questions. 1. On Ninjatrader, how do you get that candle timer on your chart? I use the bar timer, but I like what you have so I don't have to look away to see how much time is left in a particular candle. 2. Can you do a video sometime in the future that talks about the mental aspect of being able to hold a trade longer? That is my biggest issue & man, I am leaving so much money out there because once I get in profit, I don't want to risk letting a green trade turn red, so I just find myself manually closing it for no real reason. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

At 13:49 you missed entry so what I love to do is place order 50% pullback of that engulfing bear candle at top. Takes like 20min sometimes to come back up but either I get perfect entry and it rips or I just miss the trade like I already did not risking calling the top. It’s just crazy how many fills I get watching a play take off and saying I wish I got in here, and then it comes all the way back to there looking like momentum is totally against you then ticks your order and rips away. That 50% pullback is all over charts because professionals scale into both losers and winners. Either they win and scale in or loose and scale in to get break even which is 50% of scale in 1:1. Early bird we call it is 1:2 scale in and brings break even to 61.8 fib. Gee wonder why the 38.2,50 and 61.8% have so many reversals. Sometimes I’ll even let candle print and set entry at 50% knowing that if it get to there and no more it’ll rip good. If blasts past I eat half a candle not whole thing. Tick above is trend break and either need to take another trade or sit so don’t get chopped out. That’s prob the hardest part of trading for me is failed setups then switch bias and it goes back the way you were initially. That crap will scare you. Lol

Let me advice you as someone that has been in your shoes before. Just stop trading yourself because you'll keep loosing money. Find a good trader and copy their trades. In my own case I meet a hedge fund trader from a Bloomberg publication and I begged him to sign me up in his copy trade and he did for free. It took him only 6months to raise my pnl to $1.4m
It is very difficult to find someone who knows how to trade and who you can copy from. Whose operations do you copy?

My friend... it's not "whipping back in your favor" if it's against you. It's literally the opposite. It's "whipping back out of your favor" if you want to use that terminology.
