I am very new to the trading scene, watched an almost 2 hour tutorial on how to trade options, but I still don't really get it. I really want to learn how to properly do it. I read these charts wrong most times. Do you ever trade for others? I'm interested. I have about $95k set aside to test the financiaI market waters.

It's really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It just requires a certain level of diligence, which is something ordinary lnvestors lack, and so a financiaI advsor often comes in very handy.

You underestimate how much people make from just Investing with proper guidance. I started with $127k just before the pandemic hit. Many people's portfolios tanked, but I rode through with my financiaI advsor, and even made over $285k in profit alone within just five months of active sessions. I been trading the SPX, just scalping $1.00 on the premium (options) It’s a quick high average win rate. Because you’re only shooting for that quick dollar. In the morning, it usually hits within 2-5 min. 10c will get a quick $1000, or 5c $500 ect… sometimes ill only do one contract but ill pick on a day and instead of scalping the dollar ill let it run a couple dollars or more depending on the day.

FINALLY someone tells the truth about indicators. I've tried trading from so many of them- RSI, Stocastics, Bollinger Bands, etc.... They are ALL random. There is no such thing as "overbought" or "oversold." The markets do whatever the people make it do. Support/Resistance is my favorite. I prefer equal level zones, as opposed to diagonal lines. That's just preference. The neatest thing for me is when it keeps going into those zones on the same day. You can literally see the bulls or bears trying so hard to break through, and you know at some point, it's probably going to happen. That happened the past 2 days on the indices. It's so tough to break through, and when it does, you can literally see it shoot through, as if it broke through a wall.

I see green & just "take it" because I want to lock in a winning trade, Or do you simply just place your bracket & just let it go until you either get stopped out or hit your target? I see where you do move your stop loss & I understand that. I just need to learn how to hold cause I leave a lot of money on the table. My entries are usually good. My trade management/exits sucks. How much are are you investing when you open a trade?

Try going with just 2% of your total funds invested on your trading platform with each trade to begin with. Don't be tempted by greed.

Thank you Riley for the great info. It's really transformed my day trading by adding a simple, yet effective technical framework. I find that I was jumping into momentum trades and making money on the first 2 trades, but losing everything on the third! Or, I was jumping in too soon without looking at all the trendlines, support areas, etc. Thanks again and I hope you make millions for all your efforts!

So the real question is, how much time are you spending on which stocks to find a H&S pattern on a daily basis? What do you do, put everything on a 15 min chart, have a list of your 100 favorite stocks, and you run through those charts over and over every few seconds 8 hours a day hoping you find this pattern? And if it doesnt happen after 7 hours? 2 days? 5 days?

Thank you Riley! I am a new student but been watching your videos since I was lucky enough to discover you on YT after I opened my account last February. I am on the east coast (TN) and just FYI there is a 4-hour difference between pacific and eastern time (A total of 3 other time zones between west and east coast) so 7am PST is 11am EST. I've heard many markets have dips and swings of recovery after pre-market fluctuations, but never really felt confident enough, so I'm very grateful that you explain the typical process when those happen. It's also helpful to discover a mentor whose brain interprets and can explain processes in the same way that mine does.

Where did you find 450x leverage on S&P 500 ? I remember you said this in 1 video of yours. I am trading in Plus500 and the leverage is only 20. Such a pain.

It's calculated technically on the low margin letting you buy the contracts. I believe it's in this video: ua-cam.com/video/54VkJAXwomY/v-deo.html

I do like this video and it's well done, but I disagree with what you said about indicators. They absolutely DO work if used correctly and if the way they work is understood by the user. To say with absolute certainty that they don't work, and that ONLY market structure & patterns work is simply not true. Combining these elements into a comprehensive but easy to follow trading plan is what makes a trader successful, whether someone trades market structure or uses indicators. Watching for price to move by a given amount off of a support/resistance zone is in itself a confirmation of that zone holding, and there are a lot of indicators which do just that. Great video otherwise. Enjoy the week :)

I strongly disagree with your statement about indicators. I agree that they can overcomplicate things for the average trader, but if you have an eye for nuance, you can develop a strategy that combines multiple indicators that tell you the same story you seek in the main chart. Again, you have to have an eye for nuance, but if you do, the level of granularity achieved is absolutely phenomenal.
