    Excessively complicated controls. One programmable block with the hinge and rotor script makes it so much easier. I will have to get some props though because if you going to use this on something where you are not allowed to use scripts then you kind of stuck with that.

    • @LucaTheGuide
      @LucaTheGuide  Місяць тому

      That might work c= I think the creator is trying to make it so that the vehicle doesn't use scripts though x3 and ye xD

      @@LucaTheGuide I'm going to download the blueprint for it and try to set it up with the script and see how it goes. I think you're right and I believe it was done to avoid scripts. Personally if I was the creator though I think I would have uploaded two of them one with the scripts and one without.

      Turret controller with one or two "reverse direction" buttons would work.

      To clarify, I would put the cab rotation and the "shoulder" joint on turret controller with the tools set on left/right click and the "elbow" joint on a "reverse direction" and "power on/off" switch

      The builder, EngineeredCoffee, built it in his survival series where he isn't using any scripts or and very light mods. Good series too, highly recommended

    Neat! I wonder if a welder or grinder head could be used with this excavator as well. Much like excavators IRL, they're surprisingly versatile with a plethora of accessories to expand their use-cases outside of moving dirt. Why not this one?

      It uses small conveyors, so it wouldn't work well in survival, considering that most components require the large conveyors for transport. Still a really good looking excavator.

      @@estebanjorquera4606 it was made for an ongoing survival playthrough (the creator has a youtube) so we'll see i guess

      @@crow775 It was in reference to it being retrofitted with a welder or grinder, since it would require replacing the whole arm rather than a simple quick tool change.

      Should be able to c= and ye x3 ♥ but yeah giid oiubt the small conveyor might limit its usecases like esteban said u wu

      Ye they're pretty cool x3 I personally prefer mining ship u wu since anything that flies is generally more versatile xD maybe we can attach thrusters to this rig and make it fly too x3
