- Mammoth Gulch is an easy trail out of Rollinsville. Even in the beginning the views are good but once you go up a bit it’s really cool up there. There aren't any obstacles just a bunch of small bumpy rocks but any vehicle should be able to make it or go around the bigger ones. This is really close to Rollins Pass East so you could go out and back on that then hit this to Elk Park Rd. This trail also has a bunch of spurs off of it to explore. Today we were in a Volvo XC70 built by my buddy Justin from Baker Garage. My next video will be the rig walkaround of this thing and I'm excited to get it out there.

I love these tires. The only others I'd take are the BFG KO2 but they don't make them in this size and the KM2's are amazing. You can probably imagine the amount of driving I do weekly and how much abuse my tires get. These things last, everyone knows this, you've seen it in my videos.
My Tire Deflators:

These tire deflators have many $15 copies but the others just don't hold up or are inaccurate. I don't know what the deal is, they look identical to me too but read the reviews- they're bad. I've been using these Staun's for over a year and never had a problem, I air down a lot. Set them at the trail so your tires will be the same temp when you get to the trail next time.

There are better ones but I'd just get a bigger VIAIR, not something different. Airs up all my 33's from 14psi to 37psi in less than 10 minutes.
My Microphone:

My microphone is the worst good mic you can get. BUT don't be fooled, it's a very good mic. Picture me getting in my car for the 50th time after I just ran up and down a hill... for the 50th time. Do you see me disconnecting my mic and gingerly setting it in a case? No. It stays connected to the tripod, gets thrown into my plastic cargo area and bounces around with other heavy items until the next one. It gets terrible interference from WiFi so you must make sure that it's off on your camera or phone. If you are trying to use this with your phone you need to get a TRS to TRRS cable which RODE makes. This is required because your phone will think the mic is headphones.

I went through 2 tripods in 1 month, a $20 and a $30. Buy it nice or buy it thrice. This thing gets opened and closed MANY times per week in rain, snow, dirt, and even in the middle of rivers. I love the 2-stage legs so i can make it real low in 2sec instead of shortening all the legs.

You can tell how easy it was to progress through my videos. Besides maybe five times, you've seen every bit of flying since I got it. I don't fly in the city and I don't go to the mountains and not make a video. It is VERY easy to use.

The filters are a must. Again I have the worst ones and I am still very pleased. My first use was video #35 and I think it is very apparent. Illinois Gulch (#34 obviously) has a completely white sky, way too much blue. I'm still not even good about selecting the right one or changing them out but it's 10x better than nothing.

This is the stuff I've tested, this is what I like. I am very hard on all of my equipment frequently and it still works. I back all of these items and each company seems to back their product very well too. I guess it's easy to offer a warranty when your stuff doesn't break.

i don’t know much about them except i like ‘em haha. i had a 740 for awhile but it went the opposite way, lowered haha.
As an owner of an XC70, this makes want to spend more money on my car then I should haha
haha well you could not go with as big of a turbo and only 2” lift.. still be a good time!

Been up most of Ute pass in a stock 1995 855T (albeit slowly). We did NOT go up to the towers.
Also took it over to the bat cave TH East of Villa Grove.
Of course, the trip up to Zapata Falls is slow, too.

I remember watching in another video that it has the high pressure turbo, and a block from an 09 S60R, for this application wouldn't be better to use the low pressure turbo TD04? Because it doesn't look like your getting up there in the high RPMs which really the "R" turbo is made for. Then you can get the highest boost between 3-4k RPMs like what has been mostly shown. I mean if your going to be jumping dunes at 50mhp it's fine, but for 5-10mph 4x4ing? These torquey inline fives do well in low RPMs. Beautiful build I love it, even the orange. Volvo for Life!
yea this probably wasn’t the trail for this thing but best we could come up with at the time. it definitely shines better on the faster/smoother section at the end compared to the crawly beginning. it should work out well for the guy though, he’s going to be shooting up and down Mineral Bottom which should be perfect 👍 thanks for watching!

I need videos of my car, a 2001 VW Golf, with a 3 inch suspension lift and 205-75-15 general grabber AT2's.
Second car is a 2019 vw Alltrack which will someday look similar to the Volv.
right now my suspension on the MK4 is rough, i only use it around town, but when i build the CV's and suspension(330K miles on her) we need to trail these two!!!

Planning on buying a 2007 XC70 with about 225,000 miles. How are the engines? Are they built to last?

it’s really not as cool as it seems, it’s a lot of stopping, jogging, backing up and waiting around. even when i’m with my best friends who know the deal it stresses me out ordering them around and making them stop 100x. i think about quitting every time haha, it’s not until i start editing that i’m like “ok this is cool” but yea, the videos don’t really reflect the day at all haha.
