The battery of my laptop is swollen, I’ve been told not to turn it on anymore as there’s risk of fire. It’s difficult to find a replacement for the exact model, I’ve also been told that by removing the swollen battery the risk of fire disappears but I will only be able to work on the laptop with the power cord plugged into an outlet, is this true?
Thanks for showing how to tell in advance of opening the case that the battery is bloated.
