If it isn't apparent yet, I love Cabo Ricos! I feel like ethos of this boat should be "built elegantly tough." Everything aboard this yacht is in profoundly good shape and is ready to sail the world. The design is definitely classic, yet it's sophisticated enough to be an extremely comfortable boat for a couple to cruise on. Nothing more, nothing less.

Kudos for starting to show at least some of the hull design .... in fact the MOST important part for many of us when we shop for the next boat.

Cheapest boat yard on either USA or Eastern Canada ….. Deep Cove Marina …. 60 ft boat on the hard for 155 usd per month.
Love all the clipper bow boats out there, not into speed so much in my older years but I love to old time eligant lines of these boats. Very safe cruisers.
A windlass is horizontal, a capstan is vertical. But many mix them up, so your use of the adjective is helpful.
Cabo Rico is on my list. Would love to get one some day.
Once owned a Cabo Rico 38. Wonderful boat, including in a full gale.

Hey Randi, Long time follower here. I remember an old video I think it's when you went to a boat show and featured T-Shirts from one of the venders. Well I actually bought 2 dozen T's from them and just loved them. Well I ended up selling my C&C sailboat and had to move aboard a trawler for health reasons. Anyway, I'd love to buy more T's with image of my trawler on them like my old ones. Can you recall the vendor? I tried to go back and find it but couldn't. Thanks so much for any assistance you can lend me. Of course I will mention you when I make the order.

Very nice boat and beautifully maintained and equipped. But! I personally wouldn’t buy it. 14. 5 feet of overhang! It’s not a 42 ft boat loa as advertised, it is 46.5 feet with the space robbing clipper bow and sprit. Looks beautiful though to those that don’t understand what a short water line does to a boat. Many boats this length have 40 foot waterlines. A huge difference. My KP 44 had a 39 foot waterline and although it’s heavier and roomier inside with the same beautiful interior, it would sail rings around this boat. And be much more sea kindly without the hobby horsing that this design induces. But, I must admit, if this style of boat appeals to you and you don’t care all that much about performance, yeah, absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to the owner for the beautiful maintenance and equipment. And to many, athletics is very important. And thats OK. Only one thing true in boat design. Everything is a trade off.

That was a very nice looking sailboat! Yes, I would allow someone to buy it for me! : - ) And to throw in 500K for all future expenses. Like that's going to happen! lol Interestingly, my Paceship P2-20 was made in Nova Scotia back in late 1971.
