- Helping fellow sailors find and acquire great sailboats is my passion. I am particularly enthusiastic about Cabo Ricos as I've owned two (38 and 56) and have now sold almost every model. This Cabo Rico 38 Pilothouse is an exceptional example of the value a well advised buyer can capture. Are you looking for a great sailboat?? Then contact me. I'll find it for you!!!
Hi Victor 😄! Great looking boat!
Does the surveyor use a checklist specific to the boat they are surveying, the process looked very thorough. Your video was very informative. Thankyou
That’s a great question. Most surveyors use a general checklist but a wise buyer will choose a surveyor who has surveyed several boats of the same make in the past. This surveyor has surveyed many Cabo Ricos.
Was the area under the lifting settee the extra berth or is it located on the other side? I’ve never seen one lift like that. Is it on all PH’s? Beautiful boat.
That area is a mechanical space. The aft berth is to starboard.
how's the build quality on these? can you get parts for them?
Super high quality build. Parts are available for all systems.
Kevin Welsh. surf photo master. Yeah Bro. I will be in the market soon.
Love the boat. Had my eye on one.
My older brother lives just up the road from the marina. Been in there many times.
I can help you find one.
@@TheCorsair is that an open offer for everyone? 😉 I've been entertaining the half-baked plan of buying a used Cabo Rico once I put my current work project to bed sometime in August. That's actually how I found your channel.
Eric Fleming I’ll be very happy to help you acquire a Cabo Rico. I will be listing a very nice Cabo Rico 34 soon.
What ? No sale ?
The survey was only a few days ago. This deal should close. No significant issues discovered.
teak = leak !
Not on a Cabo Rico. These boats were built to a very high standard in Costa Rica. Not a Leaky Teaky from Taiwan.
I'm sure it's snug and dry but I just can't shake the feeling that the pilot house ruins the beautiful lines.
Still and all--must have felt a little like saying hello to an old friend you haven't seen in far too long, I'd imagine.
The Cabo Rico Pilothouses are more esthetically pleasing than most.
As a 6'6" guy, I look at pilot houses and think "I might actually fit *comfortably* in this boat!"
Pilothouses are good for sailing northern latitudes as well.
Do you really think thats a thorough survey?
Obviously, I didn’t film the entire survey. It was very thorough.
@@TheCorsair sorry i wasnt aiming that at you.
He didnt have much of a look at the rigging from what i saw.
Somebody commented that it was a thorough survey.
Wrong side of bed.
Ive had a little snooze and am not as easily triggered now.
No offence.
Nice boat either way!!
What do you call a video that offers absolutely no useful information!? Waste of time.
Yet, you wasted even more time by making this comment.
