- Bob Grech's HO Scale Wester Pacific Railroad is "proto-freelance" layout set between 1937 to 1940. All but one of the locomotives are steam and the layout offers a lot of switching opportunities and operation possibilities.

Very thoughtful job on the video. You were not kidding when you said this layout was detailed. Whew, mind blowing. This makes me wish I could shrink myself down to scale just so I could hang out and explore up close and personal. This is truly a wonder and again great job in giving us the opportunity to experience it. The water effects were out of this world, especially that water fall.
Beautiful layout, thanks for filming it and sharing it with us. On to part 2.
The best water I've ever seen. This layout is gorgeous.
Beautiful work on a super detailed layout, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for showing us this perfect layout. I love layouts that are full of different things to look at. Your smallest details are great.
As if the layout wasn't already wonderful THEN you added that sultry saxophone music at the end...wow! Thanks for sharing a work of art.
Really a work of art.
There's good and there's very good even excellent this is above and beyond FANTASTIC WORK
Very nice, thanks for sharing!
Wow! Beautiful layout! The water effects are fantastic, especially the falls. Thank you for sharing! 👍😊
2:42 the amount of detail in that 1 pic is amazing, let alone all the rest!
This is probably one of the most impressive layouts I've seen so far, I'm new to model railroads layout's it's so different than anything I've been into, it has helped in my eye for details, thanks
beautiful scenery and fantastic structures. Love the RR.
Wow absolutely amazing work
Sorry I wrote my comment to soon, I have to say for detailed work your layout is in the top tier of layouts I’ve seen over many years both in the US and overseas. Excellent hopefully you get noticed by a magazine or other company. Enjoy your masterpiece.
Wonderful layout, Thanks for presentation, from Germany
some fine work here on this layout excellent craftsmanship & lovely detail compliments from canada.
Nice to see so many Fine Scale Miniatures kits on a single layout. I think I counted at least ten. This is a modeling style I can appreciate. Also saw a few other kits I have built for my channel. I look forward to seeing more of this.
Fantastic beyond belief!!
awesome... like the jazz music at the end... incredible layout!!!!! only thing I would add would be another engine and some freight cars... liked the turntable..! and the sound no sounds was a little weird... if you do a full introduction of the owner etc then allow for them to talk... otherwise no... would make it flow better! and yes I would like the engine to stop at the station!! ha!!
Beautiful layout
Hello Bob
You have created a very nice layout. I like it very very much.
Greetings Holger from East Germany 🇺🇲🚂🇺🇲
It's amazing layout bro!! Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️🙏
Beautiful
That was awesome 👌
Thanks for capturing the fine details of this masterpiece. I would have been better with out the background conversation.
You said atx area? I’m in that area and always looking to find people in the hobby to share the interest with it’s something I’ve never had in life only the UA-cam model railroading community. I model 1910-1935 primarily era south coastal Texas the St. Louis Brownsville and Mexico (gulf coast lines) so this western pacific layout is right in my alley! The wig wags are incredible!
By chance do you know where to find those Pullman coaches the 4-6-0 was pulling? I can’t find 4 axle passenger cars anywhere
@@jwrailve3615 I'll ask Bob. I believe he's had those a long time.

Bob - you did another You Tube several years ago featuring a Cab Forward. Was that on this same layout?
