I have that same 3story dpm kit at 10:56. I bought it already built at a train show for 3 bucks. I knocked out all the windows and boarding and bricking up the spaces with balsa wood and evergreen brick sheet. I’m going for the condemned/abandoned/run down look.
A very nice layout. Your attention to detail is great and you have put a lot of thought into what type and where your buildings are located. Great job.
Very nice layout , but in some parts it seemed as if there were ghost towns, without people and with spider webs and in another places many people. I loved the Purina mill with it sacks, there are no people and the Mack firetruck with black roof. greetings from Chile.
My town would be a ghost town too if I had giant spiders running around making webs! Imagine walking out your front door and seeing a spider finishing up wrapping up your neighbor in their web. Yep. I'm moving! 🤣
@@karlrussell6765 If that's how you say, I liked your layout. Your city is very well designed and if it has huge spiders with their webs, that will give it a gloomy appearance . I like your idea, I congratulate you. Greetings from Chile.
nice model train layout. Would be realistic if the rolling stock and buildings were weathered. Hard to do when you have a nice shiny model but realistic is dirty.
Thanks. I have a strong interest in model railroad from the time I was young. Unfortunately I don't have a layout of my own anymore. I have thought about getting started again for my grandsons but right now my time is mostly taken up with auto restoration. The channel will mainly show that but when I see a layout that strikes my fancy such as this I will share that too. Glad you subbed. I hope my diverse interests don't bore you. I'm hoping in the near future to get my Channel up to speed with my recent purchase of a go pro. Now time to figure out how to use it.
Incredible reality...well up until the giant thermostat looming in the backround with it's evil bidding over the tiny locomotives. ....I kid...it's a great layout.

Magnificent! I would hate to have to move!
A very nice video and layout. I have plans to expand my own HO scale layout, though I don't think it will be quite as large as this.

Beautiful layout, Too bad the track wasn't painted before you ballast. It sticks out
Very nice layout Karl. Thanks for sharing. I’m new to your channel. Liked and subbed.
