Beautiful work on his layout. The talent that he has shows in each building. I can’t thank you enough for sharing your layout. I look forward to your next video. I model n scale and do a lot of scratch build and kit bashing. Keep u the great work.
Incredible layout. My father was an executive officer for the Southern Pacific. He was in charge of the communications department- anything you talked on and it was part of that system/railroad he was in charge of it. Southern Pacific had the largest privately owned microwave system in the world. From that system came the creation everybody knows now as SPRINT. Not only did they have that communications part of the company, they also had one of the largest trucking companies (one time) in the United States. They were the largest private landholder in the state of California. Company was huge. And what was fun is to see this modeling of the SP.
Thank your Dad for his service to the industry as I am a railroader too. SP is still alive and well on paper with the UP logo unfortunately lol I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
This man has created a work of art. Every scene is something most of us have seen somewhere. Details are endless. Maybe we can see trains running next time. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for sharing.
For old decals, I spray the decal with Dullcote and let it dry before applying. It takes a little longer to set but usually will not crack. Once in place, setting agent by Walthers works fine.
Doing what you want and making your own style and creating your personal taste is best, that’s what I do myself..It’s for my taste and satisfaction..But I also love the prototype guys and girls for their style and work..This hobby is another way to relax and enjoy your time..
Thank you for capturing all this. What a remarkable talent he has for making structures come to life. I'd love to see when you're showing his work on WNTW. Is there a date for it?
Mulberry?! Did a lot of swimming at Bluff Hole growing up. All these places that that have model railroads so close to home I didn't know about! Keep it up!
Among the astonishing endless details is the utmost attention to streets, avenues and their paths. Often in many layouts not that well thought out. NOT the case here. And the neighborhoods crafted here are superb. The selection of individual vehicles is impressive also......Kudos to countless hours spent. Where is this located and are visitations planned at some point?
This is a fabulous model railroad video! Well shot with a GREAT musical background and bed for this masterwork and masterpiece of GREAT AMERICAN ART OR HOBBY ART. Syzdek is a American Master Artist! It's about time the snobs of the NY art houses and museums came down to earth and recognized the great beauty of work like this that is nothing but emotionally moving. This taking me back into my childhood. I came of age in the Eastern Seaboard 60's! THANK YOU SO VERE MUCH FOR REINVIGORATING MY MEMORIES... arthur b (Ngai)
Would Sam be willing to scratch build a depot from my hometown? If so, can you help get me in contact with him? Thanks and great vlog! First time on your channel!
