- Launch Control acceleration test with the 2018 Audi RS4 B9 Avant powered by the new 2.9 liter Bi-Turbo V6 delivering 450 hp and a whopping 600 Nm of torque (total weight: 1.790kg). Honestly I would take this one over the RS5! Why? Because it just looks even better and handles at least on pair with the RS5, marvelous! It's actually pretty good the new V6 enginge, it kind of sounds like a GTR, so it's really cool. You just put a nice exhaust on it, and you've got an awesome car.

@@johannesmertens7028 wir hatten einen a2 sogar den sind wir 17 jahre gefahren was erzählst du da motor hatte kein problem hatten sogar einen chiptuning gemacht jz haben wir einen a4 2018 b9
@@johannesmertens7028 Das ist immer so genial, wenn Leute von Zuverlässigkeit sprechen, und dann sagen: Die ersten 20.000km, manche auch 60k km. Das ist für mich eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Ab 200t km trennt sich die Spreu vom Weizen.

So how do you figure? Because untill I bought my car, I hated Bimmers and the attitude from their fanboys. But whatever. No need to fight an Audi fanboy.

If their is stupid need of downsizing... then why not put 2.5 l 5-cylinders from rs3, and make 450 hp... It shouldnt be problem... rs3 got already 400hp... But sound would be much better ... But instead we reveived Audi s4 avant with more power, and poor engine sound...
the 5 zyl wouldnt be so special anymore if every audi gets that engine. Now the RS3 Limo and Hatchback aswell as the TTRS share this engine. The RSQ3 wil have this engine too. Already enough models :)
The s4 has a 3.0 single turbo...
The rs4 has a 2.9 twin turbo porsche derived motor...

Sound ist auch ganz ok. Der letzte war besser, aber immerhin hat man das Furzen recht dezent gehalten.

Gibt es so viele unterschiedliche Zeiten von 0 auf 100?? Man sieht meisten Videos wo man sieht das die locker unter 3,8 fahren,so zirka 3,6
Also ich finde das Auto echt gelungen, die Optik ist echt geil, und der sound ist auch ganz ok. Aber hätte ich selber die 100tsd Euro die dieser Wagen kostet dann würde ich doch wohl ehr den C63s mit V8 nehmen :/
c63 ist nichts besonderes hat jeder alleine in meinem kuhdorf fahren 5 stück davon
das stimmt, mir ist auch schon aufgefallen das es extrem viele c63 gibt. Der ist dann zwar nicht mehr so exklusiv, aber das wäre mir dann egal, schließlich muss ja mir das Auto gefallen :D
Das ist ja ein geiles Kuhdorf! LAut statistik gibt es in D mehr M3s, S4s und Porsche 911er als C63.
Und hier in unserem Städtedreieck hab ich noch nie einen gesehen.

M4 und C63 sieht man aber echt sehr oft. Einen neuen Rs4 hab ich noch nie fahren sehen

thejoseandresshow Definetly not as fast as the S tronic indeed, but trust me. I drive an A4 allroad 2.0TFSI with S tronic and I love it but from time to time it really annoys me. When you're going slow and you give it just a slight touch of throttle it looks like you're taking your first driving lesson in a manual. Also the programming in D is horrendous, when you're cruising at 80kph in 7 gear and you slow down to 55 it will remain in 7th unless you apply a lot of throttle. But im actually glad they went for a regular automatic in the RS4
Jrv200008 Yeah. The S-tronic is pretty sanppy. The thing is that it is the programing that Audi did on this gearbox for this car specifically, because the most recent SQ5 uses the same 8hp and it does the gear changes a lot faster. Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/ZRnICJPk4Vs/v-deo.html
thejoseandresshow Interesting, well could also have to do with handling the power maybe. But yeah, programming the ZF is hard indeed. In some cars its awesome like in the quadrifoglio and for example in jags its sucks.

Warum machte man die 7.Gang-Beschleunigung statt 8.Gang?
Da wir in Spanien waren viel unserer übliche 130 - 200 km/h Beschleunigung weg. Da der 8. Gang unterhalb von 120 km/h kaum mehr als Leerlaufdrehzahl gibt sind wir auf den 7. gewechselt. Ich hoffe man bekommt trotzdem eine Idee von dem gewaltigen Drehmoment.
19,4L / 100km... Aua aua aua. Ist zwar ein RS4, aber damit könnte man auch locker einen Chevy LS V8 versorgen... Das ist halt das Problem bei einem stark aufgeladenen Motor mit wenig Hubraum (, speziell bei wenig Hub bei viel Bohrung).
Die Durchschnittsverbräuche auf Filmdrehs sind nie aussagekräftig. Der V6 BiTurbo ist extrem sparsam, im RS5 hatten wir einen Gesamtschnitt von ca. 10 Litern auf knapp 2.000 km👍
12,1 Liter bei Vollgas Fahrten bis 280 km h sind völlig ok. Mein Golf 7 R hat sich 14 Liter genehmigt. Leider ist der Tank zu klein und nach 450 km darf man wieder tanken. Ich kann nur sagen das der Wagen mir sehr viel Freude bereitet. Zum Vergleich RS6 klar der ist emotionaler und geht sehr gut vorwärts, aber der RS4 ist deutlich handlicher und agiler auf Landstraßen...

Keine echte (mechanische, korrekt...aber eine Software die erkennt wenn man in den "Launch Control" Modus geht und dadurch den Schlupf und Gangwechsel entsprechend anpasst.

Its faster because the engine is new. If it had a V8, it would be even more faster :P But hopefully Audi wont put V6 in new RS6 :D
