You’ve now caught up to where I’m at in my first playthrough, but I started watching your videos last week and you pointed out at least half a dozen full dungeons I hadn’t ever found. This series is amazing for pointing out the little things after I’ve finished an area and can comfortably go back through!
I might be a square, but I always notice how content creators greet their audience at the beginning of the video- that said, I love your immediate intros. A short and simple greeting but is actually so genuine and wholesome. Please never change! Also, I watch your E-Ring content religiously!

The worst thing about those burial watchdog statues is that dungeon is that they RESPAWN if you die. So after I killed them each once, I just wound up running past them every other time. Not worth the effort to fight them every time.
I had to cheese the Watchdogs using the Frost Breathing Statues, wasn't sure if they'd damage them, but I lured them both to the middle and jumped on top of it, killed them in about 4 hits
Good timing. I started progressing into the Mountaintop of Giants and got smacked around. told myself "I guess I better wait for the next video" which I assumed would be this region lol. Thanks!
I managed to get the dragon's AI to get stuck on a rock. I summoned Latenna way off in the distance then just kept the dragon's aggro while standing VERY close to my new favorite rock. He just kept using melee attacks while Latenna chipped away at his health. Super easy cheesey fight.
My advice for dealing with the explody jars in the catacombs is to shoot them with fire arrows. It will trigger an immediate explosion and they won’t run at you at all. It made the saw rooms very easy for me.

i learned that those "trees" that look like swords are effigies left by the fire monks after they wiped out the giants. it's a crazy and sort of sad bit of lore.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who had trouble with that bloody Erdtree burial watchdog.... I swore I was way under-levelled for the area so just moved on but didn't really have trouble with the rest of this Area, none of the bosses killed me as much as that bloody watchdog did... I hate it lmao.
I missed the fire monk ashes at first. Found it the second time I went in. I usually go through the caves twice before I check your videos. Most of the time I find everything, but appreciate your videos for the few things I miss here and there.

Giants mountaintop catacombs has SO many of the most annoying features of this game in one hellish package. All the turnarounds/lookalikes, the hidden elevator floors, the imps, the watchdogs, topped off by YA' ULCERATED BOI!
The only thing I missed was the invisible scarab w/seppuku AoW. I had missed the catacombs but saw them on a wiki. I've been using this series to help me wrap things up before going to Crumbling Farum Azula. So many easy to miss items and locations in this game for my OCD completionist tendencies.
For anyone needing/wanting a more comprehensive Mountaintop of the Giants Catacombs specific video, I would recommend FightinCowboy's video on it. It's excellent. Edit: apologies to Dom, I think I was confusing this one with the Hero's Grave in the northeast outer wall of Leyndell. That one is super-confusing, and i fully cheated with a guide, or I definitely would have lost my mind there.
the dragon is super easy if you arent in a hurry. run in on torrent, take 2 swings and bail. stay away while he attacks and run back in. you will get the cadence of his attacks after a couple mins. after that it is gravy
I was sure I explored the whole catacombs! .. I thought I'd heard about Watchdogs in that place.. but I searched everything. So figured I was wrong.. Who goes back thru a dungeon after unlocking the boss door?
not sure if anyone notcied but you can get that fire prate enemy to drop his thorned whip, it took some farming but i got it, along with his armor, but its about the whip
Them stone, cat looking, watch guard fools are ridiculous. I died to them so many times and then kill the boss on the 1st try. They should be the boss... they were much harder
Am i the only one whose giant mountaintop catacomb elevator doesnt fo down further. I open the boss door turned arpund to the loft and it brought me back up.
I've been able to get all of my unique weapons to plus 8 or above my utfhi gatana plus 23 almost at 25 love this area except the undead douche bags that do ridiculous damage with frost anyway other wise loving this area reminds me of sekiro funny how the snowy areas are the easier areas for the most part elsen ring the opposite lol of course
I don't understand why you feel the need to kill every mob you encounter? If you don't have to kill it just run. Why waste FP/ammo when your just looking for a bloody switch? Now Im not saying to run away from all the mobs but you don't have to kill all of them there's alot of time you could have avoided dying 🙄
Why do people like you keep popping up on UA-cam nowadays? Making any kind of comments without knowing a single living thing about it. Giving all deathroots to gurranq gets you an ancient dragon smithing stone and there are only 13 of them in the game. And most of those 13 are very missable without guides.
Gotta say Dom you don't need bleed, Bleed is for people who refuse to get good at the game especially if they're running rivers of blood, you're beyond that
After a few boss slayings in the capitol, I've finally graduated to The Mountain Top of The Giants....I need one more whip, and one more magma blade... I'm lvl 127 with no attributes above 31 , still dual wielding Katana

On a ledge over the fire monks there is a scarab beetle hanging over a drop that is very tricky to kill.

If you're having a hard time with the frost Dragon he's very easy to kill using Loretta's bow .

I believe you were lucky to get watchdogs greatsword. Drop rate is a joke on it apparently.
The fog never lifted for me during the dragon fight. It was nice for the effect, but also annoying.

The fact that half the weapons in this game have bleed build up in them tells me you may be wrong on this one. Let people play how they want to play.
