Duran Duran SERIOUS (It Doesn't Have To Be Seriously Extended Mix by Mr David)

"Serious" was the second and final single from Duran Duran's album, "Liberty". Despite being a fan favorite, it failed to have much success anywhere in the world. However, it DID inspire the group to rethink their approach and by the time self-titled follow-up was released nearly three years later, they were once again poised to conquer the world of pop music with "Ordinary World" and "Come Undone", their biggest hits since the early 80's, and signature tunes by any measure. I like to think that if the singles from "Liberty" HAD been more successful, they would not have taken the time to craft one of their finest albums, and perhaps may not have even continued on as a group as they have done. I think this relative failure can be seen as a success when you look at this that way.
