It is never a good sign when you touch it, and a pile of fine soil falls out. That dirt gets everywhere. I saw a video yesterday about a man who got 900,000 miles out of a Ford V-8 diesel without major work, before it finally died. The mechanics asked him how he did it. He told them he installed an extra oil filter & changed synthetic oil every 5,000 miles. The needle bearings supporting the rocker arms on the heads finally failed. The rest of the engine looked like new. The fuel pump cam and main bearings looked like new, with no wear marks at all! It was amazing. He used the pickup to deliver trailers to dealers. He said he added a bottle of additive to every tank of diesel to make the new ultra low sulfur diesel fuel slipperier. People claim the ULS diesel causes more wear than the old diesel which had more sulfur in it. I guess it could.
I’m ready to move to Georgia. I got a foot of snow. I have custody of two grandchildren and they will be shoveling my driveway open today. They do most of it with the snow blower and leaf blower. They were sleigh riding till late last night.
I see this is an older video. And another carb cleaning video, which never disappoints lol Do you leave those Christmas lights in your garage up all year round?

When you drain gas out of the tank what size pipe do you use
its a 3/8 pipe
Hi Tom, is it good practice when shutting down a generator to shut the fuel off and allow it to use up the fuel in the carb and stall out.
if you're going to store it run it completely out, but thats not a bad idea if ya use it occasionaly
Why on some carburetor cleaning you clean the emulsion tube and some you don’t? Just wondering
@@rogerhurnyak8950 some are not removable
Was this video shot before you painted the garage floor?

@ Ahhh, thought so. I bet you didn’t think i was paying attention, right? BTW, nice troubleshooting video Tom!
Why don’t you use your transfer pump if it’s to heavy to lift
this video was before i bought it
