Thank you guys for helping to keep your communities safe. You're doing a great job and what you do is unfortunately most of the times massively underappreciated.
Especially during covid, a lot of people were forced to stay at home and have started to watch streams on twitch. Some of them might be here now, new to twitch but being trusted enough to help someone out as someones mod.
You are doing more than you might think.
Smaller streamers can't pay their mods and sometimes mods are not even thanked for being there and helping. Please always keep in mind that you as a mod are super important for the community, keeping the stream safe and enjoyable for others to watch. There are people out there watching streams, either chatting or not feeling comfortable to say anything, but they appreciate what you are doing so much!
You are doing the right thing and I can't thank anyone of you enough.

I got mod in a stream I was in a lot. Its trust, its teamwork. I had to learn on my own pretty much everything in this vid. It is so important to welcome and be warm to new viewers/followers. Mods can make or break a chat or stream just as the Streamer can. People just want to be noticed or they would not be in your chat, mods can make a HUGE difference! Moding several streamers at once is a challenge, but communication is key. Let them know brb, taking a break. etc Thank you so much for this vid. Sharing it far and wide.
Yup! When I mod with someone else we divide roles and it makes a difference.

I've been streaming for about 5, 6 more ths. I felt like a mod wasnt necessary because my stream has been so low volume. But after getting to about 400 followers I felt a need to interact with the people and streamers I trusted so we could grow together. All these tips have been perfect

My partner modded me for his stream without asking me, so hence why im here now. I don't mind, it's gonna be fun, but now I get to be evil and drop a "we need to talk" on him. Quickly followed with "about your twitch rules!". Sligth heart attack, yes, but I consider it payback for modding me without even telling me he was planing on it.
Hey I'm a new mod on my mates stream and in some cases I need to communicate with him via the chat without the viewers seeing.... Such as tell him to mute/unmute his mic, whether the audio is off ect.
Is there anyway I can do this or do we need to stick to discord?
