Did a Reno on a truck camper a couple years back...fridge was shot... pulled it out and it wouldn't fit through the door to get it out....had to completely disassemble it...doors, cooling unit on the back....found a 6cu ft residential fridge at Lowes that fit the opening with next to no mods..added rigid foam to the inside of the cabinet and squeeked it in tight...only used 50watts (3amps I think)when cooling down..took about 10-15mins and was golden,,,made a custom solar panel rack for the roof that was just above all the vent covers and put on 2- 310 watt panels down the centre and had room for a kayak on either side...2000 watt inverter and 4 arm glass mat batteries,...installed a 2 battery bank with the solar controller and inverter in a box in front of the bed step up adding another step that made it easier to get up to the bed...one more under the kitchen sink and one in the original battery compartment....weakest part of the system was definitely the batteries...should have went with lithium.....big project...you guys are very ambitious....made the composting toilet with the urin diverted to the black tank...its the way to go. will be interested to see the finished project.

Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with us. We only had to take the doors and front trim off our fridge to get it out. Not too bad.

Just a thought from an old rv tech….nothing wrong with the Dometic. Sometimes sitting air locks them so remove it rough it up and rotate it to move coolant around and it will work for 30 years

The fridge has made its way to a new home. Hopefully, it will continue to work for them for years 🤞 Thanks for watching!

Bouge RV is having a great prime sale on their Cigs 200w flexible panels that Hobotech did an awesome review on his channel. They are the best for Bigfoots and NL

It's coming along nicely. We were shocked at how much storage it has for a camper. Thanks for watching!!

We purchased a free range designs urine diverter from Amazon that we will be building the toilet around. The reviews seem good. Hopefully it works out. Thanks for watching.

I have a 2022 yr dometic 3 way fridge in my truckcamper. Absolutely love it. I use sensors in the freezer n fridge to monitor the temp. It keeps temp steady all the time. It is awesome imo having the power choice. U gotta have a nice battery bank n solar for boondocking for a 12v. Keep in mind bigger fridge more battery eh. N u need back up for cloudy days. I wouldn't mount side boxes actually to the camper itself, what if u had to change trucks? 😬. Looking fwd to your reno's. 🍻

Pizza stones are so heavy. I used air bake cookie sheets. So much lighter.

Our oven is little, so we just have a small pizza stone. The air bake cookie sheet sounds like a great idea. We will have to see if they make one small enough.
