I’m a great fan of pigment powders I’ve mixed potted & labelled 50 different colours that are hot hot hot, I tend to use clear acrylic only because you get the true colour your trying to achieve, a little tip if you keep a pocket diary for how you mixed the colours you can always come back to it if need to make it again & if you add a tiny teaspoon of white acrylic to your mix you get what your trying to achieve it makes a huge difference it gives that mix a creamy well blended look, great video dear so pleased to see techs mixing shades

It’s so crazy because I was looking at pigments before I decided to look on UA-cam how to make acrylics because I was just looking on the sites for colored acrylic and people are charging $150 for six colors and it was getting out of hand for me, but this really confirmed . Thank you so much.
I use this method too. I got the same Mica powders too. The endless possibilities to making your own colores and also mixing some glitter too. It's so much fun . 😁💕😍

@@madgerowe2125 the Mica powder is already a fine powder . All you need is very little to mix with clear acrylic powder. Keep in mind not to put to much Mica powder because it will make the Acrylic weak . Also on some bright colors like the neons it comes out a bit brighter if you use clear and white acrylic to mix with.

I’m only 14 and I wanna be a full aesthetician when I get older but I’m really interested in doing nails and I’ve invested in a uv led lamp, some pixie crystals , top coat , nail brush , monomer and acrylic . I was really about to spend hella money on Valentino but this really just saved me. I have a small mortar and pestle I use when I make acrylics. I put the pigment n first n make sure it's all busted up then add my clear. It helps keep chunks of the pigment out 😉

This is a great video. I would love to see all these colors in the sun though. They may be brighter than the video could capture indoors
Instead of shaking the pot, I put it all in them mini ziplock bags and rub it up with my fingers. That way all them little bits of pigment break and spread easily. Then I put it in the pot and shake.

Colors came out beautiful. Try The Colour Cottage pigment powders as well, they have some beautiful colors to. Also the mortar and pestle works really good for keeping the clumps out

These companies scaling df out of people! It’s too simple just mix the pigment colors with clear acrylic powder .... wow instead I’m going to just got spend $45 on Amazon and make my own 😭😭😭
And you can also use eyeshadow palettes to mix with the clear acrylic to get colored acrylic
I thought it had sum type of oil in it but thank you 😊
That's what I use eye shadow put it in a small plastic bag use a roller go over mixes color and acrylic well no bits

Jayme Lizana I looked it up and yes we can! The only difference is dip powder is more finely milled, but both will get the job done just fine 👍🏾

I have the exact micca powders from Amazon. Looking at your ratio clear acrylic to color I like ot. Your application is smoother than mine plus I added holographic fine glitter to mine but yes the colors are awesome. I added some white to my tangerine so it's a brighter orange.

You can also buy pigment online and custom mix it. Or get pigment to do neon or glow in the dark. Cheaper that way too.

leiaeysha.naomi I’m a cosmo. Not sure what school you go to but at mine we only covered the basics. To actually get to learn and practice acrylics you would need to be in that program. We just learned how to use polish & do manis & pedis
