This, THIS is a perfect cover for Simon's Theme. A badass theme for the Belmont who not only killed Dracula once, but scoured the countryside while afflicted by a curse that was LITERALLY CAUSING HIS FLESH TO ROT, killed countless demons (even Death, for the second time) and resurrected Dracula once again just to kick his ass again and break the curse. It doesn't get more metal than that.

@Soulular Something Know what makes Simon even more badass? According to canon, he's totally inept at magic, unlike most of the Belmont family so he makes up for it with raw strength; meaning he kicked Dracula's ass through pure manly spirit! He is essentially the Rock Lee of vampire hunters!

Yeah. I remember that one.

I know it sounds silly but when I think of Simon's theme, I always find the courage to enter darkness. Finding a new job, moving, having a bad time, whatever it is just bring it on and I whip it. You heard about nerd rage, try nerd's courage.

Okay, can we just analyze Simon for a second? He has a beautiful flowing mane of hair, crystal blue eyes that pierce whatever he looks at, has thighs the size of damn tree trunks, has bad-ass barbarian style armor, has a jawline that could cut diamond, and has a voice that sends shivers throughout my body whenever I hear it. And besides his good looks, he’s the only Belmont to ever defeat Dracula twice, and during his second time, he was cursed with a disease that made him seriously ill, yet he still persevered. I know there are Belmonts with more character development like Trevor, Julius, or Leon, but I still think that Simon is the best Belmont by far

Christopher defeated Dracula twice also.
He's definitely not the most powerful Belmont, but that just ads to his feats and how he managed to defeat Dracule twice. To me, he's the most skilled Belmont of them all

I always felt that in a pinch, Simon Belmont would dismember monsters with his bare hands.
So... Not only are the Belmonts related to the Joestars, (and possibly one Dr. Jones) but also the Blazkowicz lineage (including the Doom Slayer).
All 3 lineages are Chad's.
If a 3D remake of the Simon's era are done (a good, respectful remake), I want to see him brawling against the undead/dark monstrosities.
He doesn't need magic. He can take down most of the horrors with one big punch

Castlevania as always meant to be. Imagine a fierce battle against Dracula, using Simon Belmont, with this melody playing in the backround! So epic!
why imagine when you can do it in super castlevania 4? the background music is really lackluster and doesn't get in the way of any added music for the first part of the dracula boss fight.
What a shame the live-action movie got cancelled, would have been cool to see that one, provided they didn't stray too far from the story.

Well. Super castlevania IV had kind the right idea. That's why I think it is one of THE best Castlevania games ever done.
And I REALLY hope they will using this music while Simon Belmont fights against Dracula in Castlevania NetFlix version. =D

Most epic gaming moment in my early memory: fighting Dracula at the end of Super Castlevania IV, and when you've nearly beaten him, Simon's Theme kicks back in. Hell yeah!

If they ever get to Simon in the series he is just gonna be badass. He is descended from Sypha and Trevor, so you're getting the Blemont blood along with the magic of a speaker...no wonder he is able to fight Dracula by himself.
In games, he actually was a real "John Wick" from Belmonts, slashing every demon by himself, not pretending to have any friend he could trust to defeat Dracula (twice!!). That's my real dream: Simon Belmont appearing in the Netflix show as a psycho lone hunter.
Julius Belmont was ridiculously powerful and he put the Count down for good so by that alone he is the greatest Belmont...I'd say Christopher and Simon are on the same level though

@Ties de Jong You're right, I forgot that it was his Dracula's ghost...but Simon also had a handicap himself with a curse if I'm not mistaken, thats gotta count for something...but Id say 1 and a half times for Simon...You could even argue that Chris managed to kill Dracula once do to him surviving the fist encounter with Chris but he did faced Dracula at full power twice so Chris would still edge Simon out. Lol Id still classify them both as nearly equal though.

The world needs more of this. I was 6 when this game released & it's good to see the world hasn't forgot about Super Castlevania IV
Although it is by far the easiest of the original games, was an early SNES release, and is basically a remake of NES CV1 it provides great gameplay mechanics, an awesome storyline enhancement, and beautiful graphics. Its fun to play, but unfortunately its not very challenging which typically pushes die hard Vania fans away looking for a real challenge such as CV3 Hard Mode or NES CV1 second loop.
@@thegoldenorder1240 It made very impressive use of the early SNES capabilities, in my opinion. I would have liked an entire Castlevania trilogy done in the Super Castlevania format, with the directional and swinging whip. And Slogra/Gaibon are one of my favorite subbosses.

I remember playing a vampire the masquerade table top, and the goal was for some low level vampires (The party) to bring back some prey for a ritual sacrifice. Then as they uncloakesd the man. The theme starts playing, the party asked why and the leader of the ritual said: "because you didn't bring back a sacrifice, you brought back a fucking Belmont" as he proceeded to wreck shop.
How to seal your own fate in less than a minute: summon a belmont and piss him off.

I know he wasn't in his timeline, but to me, Simon was the original badass in the original Castlevania
Even though he isn’t in all the games, he is widely regarded as the face of Castlevania. When you think castlevania, Simon is the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind.
Hell he is so iconic and synonymous with the franchise he actually overshadows Dracula, one of the most iconic fictional characters of all time.

@@RedHairdo Not really no. Alucard is a very famous depiction of Dracula's son. If you say Alucard people might know him but not necessarily connect it to Castlevania. In the case of Castlevania, Simon is the face of Castlevania while Alucard is who people swoon over.
It's like in Megaman series, if you say the series, people will think of X, but people swoon over Zero.

Doom - A place is reserved in Hell for leaving THAT out of it, didn't they want to anger "Bible Belt" states?! Resident Evil - It got a bit stale as the series progressed. Mortal Kombat - that's not all bad as it's the reason why Kano is now Australian. Final Sobiety: The Meths Within! - A main factor of why they didn't do a 3D remake of Chrono Trigger.
+NetMoverSitan yeah that is a very good point and that's why they didn't make it, but that's not really what I was referring to, I wasn't referring to anything in fact, I don't want an independent castlevania movie with the budget of a ham sandwich, I want a castlevania movie with a good budget that Hollywood is involved in and with this theme song but you do make a good point no fucking way do I want them to make a movie that isn't faithful to the original source and made with a budget that really isn't realistic for a film of this magnitude.

I always get Nostalgia when I hear this. When Dracula is almost dead and this plays. (I know this song also played in the start of the game, but when I always listen to this I think of the Final Battle.) Can't forget those moments.
